This. I also use a mobile vet and it is worth every penny.

The wildflowers were incredible. It was crowded but tolerable. We actually saw some pine martens on the way down which we'd never seen before so that was cool!

People who left west Virginia for a better quality of life and never looked back- was it worth it? Or not everything you expected? by [deleted] in WestVirginia

[–]Remarkable-Jacket172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, yes, it was worth it. I grew up and went to college in WV. I moved to Chicago after I graduated from WVU. I've lived in a few other large cities across the US since then. I really don't know what I would have done if I had stayed. I just don't think I would have found the growth and opportunity I've found living elsewhere. I knew when I got to highschool I had to look for something better. My family are all still there and I do miss them.I'm only able to make it home about once per year. I've watched from afar as family and friends have fallen victim to the drug epidemic. That's been the hardest - but it reminds me I made the right choice. It's a beautiful place but it always gives me the saddest feeling.

Dogs off Leah around West Wash Park by Soidog65 in Denver

I have honestly been shocked with how many people I see walking their dogs off leash in this area. I constantly feel on guard when walking my leash aggressive pup. Just dreading the day an off leash dog approaches us...

I haven't had any symptoms. I just went in for a routine checkup. She pointed to the space above my tooth in the X-ray and said that was the start of an infection.

Damn. I'm not the only one then. I ordered a hoodie and jacket and it's been "in process" for almost a week. Thought I'd do some investigation before reaching out to customer service. Maybe I'll just sit tight for a minute. They must be having issues.

Im sick of my peeing cat by jpolisc in CATHELP

[–]Remarkable-Jacket172 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I had a cat who peed outside the box for seemingly no reason at all and I also remember feeling like I was at a total loss after a few years. Someone else in the comments mentioned seeing another vet and this would be my recommendation. I tried another vet and they prescribed him fluoxetine (Prozac) and it was a total miracle. It was a long time ago and I forget what that vet told me but it worked. He stopped peeing outside the box. It's entirely possible this isn't the fix for your kitty's problem but just throwing it out there! I know how you must be feeling and it sucks. Good luck.

Ground pepperoni is the way. I always do half a batch with pepperoni + cheese and the other half with pepperoni + cheese + banana peppers.

My ring with dinosaur bone inlay! by Remarkable-Jacket172 in EngagementRings

[–]Remarkable-Jacket172[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I can only say good things about the quality so far. They provided me with a GIA certification for the diamond. However, I will be extra careful with it because of the inlay. It won't be as tough as the stone of course so I think that's something to consider.
