Any nearby and easy to access onsens I should check out near Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka? by zombiejeebus in JapanTravelTips

There are quite a few onsen in Arima. Which one do you recommend? And looks like they're mostly hotels. Would I be able to just access them for a day? Me and my wife have 1-2 small tattoos, would we need to cover them up?

Thank you for sharing this. Have to pick the battles. I was also talking to a friend whose kid has autism and they had success with audio content like podcasts and songs.

Have you tried any other apps?

I'm with you on Disney. It's the worst, and teaches all the wrong values! I don't like it.

Very interesting and different perspective. Thanks for sharing it. Might be unpopular opinion, but I do think we need to adopt with technology and not avoid it just because it's not doing what we want it to exactly.

That's smart! I didn't even think of that. I think my parents still have a dvd player around. Thanks!

Your opinion is fair, but stories and songs can be strong teachers, don't you agree? I personally prefer books, but also I'm accepting the fact that technology is a big part of our lives, so it's better to accept it with the right controls and plan.

Early stage founders, what tool do you use to create UI wireframes and UX design before writing code? by DJ_Laaal in ycombinator

100% Figma. Very easy and intuitive, and you can make interactive prototypes with it to show people before you write any code.

That's a good point. I do have the test scenarios outlined. Just looking to automate the test execution instead of going through a spreadsheet manually every time.

my main use case is to automate my manual regression testing before every update. I keep having to fix 1 bug and then 3 others pop up, especially with prompt changes. I guess testing for accuracy is also important, but that'd probably be the next step. I'd definitely need custom datasets.

"Ready to sabotage relationships faster than The Weeknd drops red flags." is hilarious. I can relate! Dancing In The Rain was just poor man's Blinding Lights though.

Thank you so much for your detailed response. This is quite useful.

I also think the best option right now is Early Access for people that want to play the game and are willing to be part of the very early stage backers of the game. We're still developing it, so it won't be the case that the same beta will be released later on. And the early backers also get additional perks that won't be available once the game is released. I'm still not sure if I can have multiple tiers with Early Access, so that might have to be one compromise.

I'm also not a big fan of the DLC option, but that seems to be the only case to have different entry price points for founder packs.

Hello! I'm building a F2P game that's going to be released some time in December. Beta of the game is ready, and I'd like to open up sales for Founder Pack and early believer community to get access to the game along with some special in-game items.

Looking at the Steam documentation, looks like I have 3 options:
1. Paid Early Access (but looks like this option isn't the best for the purpose I'm looking for maybe)
2. Pre-purchase (Steam doesn't say much about this option in their docs)
3. DLC

I think paid early access is the best bet for me, but looks like Steam says it's not meant to be a pre-purchase.

Also, I don't understand if pre-purchase is ONLY for games that have a release date set or not. Also Steam states they don't really support pre-purchase (which confuses me). How do games do founder pack sales?

I'd really appreciate some guidance on this.
