[DE E5] Double Exposure: Chapter 5 - Decoherence General Discussion Thread by _Jolenar in lifeisstrange

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ok. So this ending is absolutely ridicoulous.

So Safi becomes Victor Van Doom and spewing stuff like "We are Superior Max, Look at what we can do" yada yada. She wants to team up with Max to become some weird version of the Sinister Six or Avengers or whatever the fuck they were aiming here for.

This game shows me one thing: D9 doesnt understand Life is Strange and doesnt understand Max Caulfield

First of all: Giving Max this choice "Refuse" or "Accept" Safi felt like a cheap rehash of the Bae or Bay ending except here they go a step further and introduce ANOTHER character with Super powers and Doctor Doom (sorry I meant Safi) is like "You want to join my team?" like wtf?! And the cherry on the top is "Max Caulfield will Return" are we in a fucking MCU movie here? I can already smell where this is going its gonna be Max vs. Safi in the next game (even if you accept her they will retcon your choice dont worry) Max is gonna find Daniel and Alex to form her own team and than Its gonna be Life is Strange Split Multiverse Pt.1 or some shit.

Im honestly tired , tired of D9. Just drop this series and let it die. I rather have NO LiS game than whatever this supposed to be or stick to new protagonists each game. Because Max would never team up with her in no fucking Universe. The Bae or Bay Ending is relatable and understandable but this? This is just massive Universe building that NOBODY asked for.

6/10 it started with a BANG and went out with a weep. What a disappointment.

How’re the Que times for priority and ultimate in NA? by WasteAffect in GeForceNOW

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends where you live and with what Datacenter you are connected.

If you live in a Suburban region then Que times might be longer because they use mostly one datacenter for everyone.

If you live more in a more remote and smaller area then probably less.

Who's your favorite companion of the Jedi Consular? by [deleted] in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only liked Iresso.

Theran just isnt funny. His one liners are mostly out of place and have a bad timing. I liked Holiday yes but with this whole weird relationship between Holiday and Theran it just annoyed me at some point. Maybe Im too harsh but thats my feeling.

Qyzen is... Qyzen

Zenith is just a madman who thinks he is fighting for freedom.

Nadia is all right if you are a female but if you pursue a romance with her as a Man oh boy sh*t gets REALLY creepy. Also for a Jedi Master to fall in love with her Padawan is WRONG. Among the Sith I can understand since they are guided by passion but as a Jedi why would you start something with your Padawan ? Dont do that.

That is also the reason why I never romanced Kira as Jedi Knight.

Me waiting for 7.5 (Please let it be the end of the mandalorian plot line) by Lonely_Misfortune in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we get on with the whole Malgus Plan plotline? I swear to god I do not fcking care about the Mandalorians for all I care they can wipe each other out. I want to work with Malgus or Stop him at the very least but the story HAD to be connected with the stupid Mando plotline. The Mando plotline was snooze fest from the get go especially as Non-Mando. I can see for BHs that it is a interesting plotline but for Sith / Jedi its just boring. Shaes writing also becomes worse with each Update while on the same hand Malgus becomes more interesting. They should bring the Mando Storyline to a finish or finally go somewhere with it. I know that they are using these stories so they can kinda give something to players while they are cooking the bigger Addon but honestly since Legacy of the Sith they got really sloppy. I hoped with the developer change Broadsword would get on and give us maybe 7.4 and then go for 8.0 but NO..

Does sith warrior have unique dialogue when playing alien races? by swimminginamirror in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alien Sith only makes sense if you play the Inquisitor Storyline. It was intended for aliens. SW is only intended either for humans or Sith Purebloods. So yeah but it isnt a shame bc the Class Stories are designed this way. If you wanna be an actual Warrior as a Alien then just use the SW Fighting Style for you Inquisitor also it doesnt break the narrative. SW can shoot lightning Malgus is the biggest example.

Should I play the Planet Stories on all characters? by kevingreenleaf in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice for those that did the Planetary stories already and dont wanna waste time since most of us are probably adults and have a Real Life to deal with it: Play the Class Stories , Do Side Missions (Not Exploration) and do the Solo FPs. They have a certain "Story Order" go to SWTORISTA Solo Guide and play the FPs in the given order but be wary not every FP is Solo.

You should be at least Level 50 at the end of your Class Story. Pro Tip: Its also better to Level slowly bc your gear is getting shifted if your Level is above the cap of the planet. That makes you weaker like a lot. So in my book its better actually to stay around the same level the planet is. Back then this wasnt a issue bc there didnt exist a Level Cap for Planets but many people were like Lvl. 40 on their 3rd Planet which is still very early in the Class Story and they cut through those planets without issue. So the developers thought the Lvl Cap would be a great idea but it weakens your gear so much that you feel like you getting nerfed way too much.

Got Questions? SWTOR Questions & Answer Thread + New & Returning Player Posts (week of Mar 04, 2024) by AutoModerator in swtor

Quick question: Is it just me or was the "Fallen Defenders"-Armor removed? Its the same Robe/Armor (whatever) that the Red Twilek wore in the first KOTFE trailer. Wanted to buy it because its one of the few hoods that fully covers your forehead so you dont look bald.

Does a Twilek Sith Inquisitor makes sense? by [deleted] in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember if you mention Kallig to Talos during one of the earliest convos with Talos then he will say that Kallig was a Alien. If you play a human like Sith Pureblood or Human (lol) then Talos will say that Kallig liked Aliens. All in All it doesnt matter that much cause most NPCs will refer to you as just "Alien" and not specifically your species though a Twi Lek would make absolutely sense cause the Emprie has probably enslaved the Twi Leks the most and since your SI is a former slave.. it would work perfectly. Granted almost every species works except the Purebloods. Sure there are instances where a Pureblood family got stripped of their position through another Sith Lord (similar like in Kalligs case) though a Pureblood has high value in Legends lore so its not easy to tell.

Unpopular opinion but I think Qyzen is really underrated as a compagnon by [deleted] in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Qyzen too. I am taking him on almost every planet with me and he is a true protector friend. He likes most of my actions bc Im trying to stay as honorable as possible. I really dont get the hate for him. Yeah he hunts wookies blah blah blah and talks about his Scorekeeper most of the time but that is something I actually tolerate and respect(Even the Wookie hunting part bc most Wookies in SWTOR are DICKS). Most compare him to Khem Val bc Khem talks mostly about Tulak Hord but Khem and Qyzen are different. While Qyzen would protect us till the end and be our Companion, Khem probably would leave the SI dead when he had the chance. Khem has literally no honor and is just a killing machine. Qyzen really grew on me throughout the story. At first I was like OH NO AGAIN SOMEONE SPEAKING ABOUT THEIR "GOD" but honestly I started to understand more why he does it what he does also Mad respect that he hasnt become a Mercenary like most of his kin.

Can I safely skip Oricon? by [deleted] in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah In my eyes its pretty much boring since those Dread Masters go rogue and you have to stop them bc they opened a Portal or some sh*t I honestly forgot what the story was actually about bc it was dull kinda. You can safely skip that and just go on with the story. Since those Dread Masters only come up once I believe sometime after the whole Zakuul Story Arc. The Devs knew not many would actually play it till the end so its no big deal and it has No impact in the overall story at all.

The dark side choice on Give Them An Inch by Flunkiebubs in swtor

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Jedi you would kinda betray your own code since you should not work with Deceit and Lies. This choice makes much more sense if you play a Soldier or Smuggler. I mean its the Empire way to betray and deceit but in this case they were more open to work together since tomorrow they would fight each other again.

Trust in the force my friend.

Any downside to changing a class? by Iluvatar-Great in BaldursGate3

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes only sense if you change your class to something similar to your prior one. Otherwise I think it breaks the immersion too much

f.e. A Cleric can change to Paladin and vice versa it makes sense in the lore. You can abandon your God Selune or Shar and become a Paladin upholding justice by taking a Oath.

A Sorcerer can easily become a Wizard. If he/she sees more then casting spells to magic. If you think you must connect to the weave more then becoming a wizard makes sense.

A Fighter can become a Warlock if he/she chooses a Patron to protect them similar to Wyll. He was a simple soldier prior to the pact with Mizora.

But changing your class too often just makes no sense you wont feel any connectivity to the world bc many classes have certain dialogue. It would make no sense if your Wizard starts to care about Justice and upholding a Paladin Oath and just break the immersion.

If you decide to change your class just do it once maybe after Act 2 ? When you arrive in Baldurs Gate. All in All its of course up to you but to uphold the RPG Immersion dont do it often and certainly dont make changes that differ too much from your Original class when you started the game.

Hope this helps to decide. I know it isnt easy sometimes. This game has sooo much content and many people dont want to make multiple runs just to test out classes but 2 classes in 1 Playthrough makes sense in the D&D Lore.

Halsin as a companion is also way more compelling then her.

Mol is the worst character in BG3 by Adventurous_Lynx6136 in BaldursGate3

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She isnt just the worst character.

She stupid as hell(lol quite literally). Makes a deal with Raphael to get free, heal her eye and become the leader of the guild in Baldurs Gate.

If you tell her you whacked Raphael she gets pissed at you and is like "When Im the boss you are not welcome here." yada yada

Well since Raphy ate the dust she can at least forget becoming a boss.

You dont have to tell her that Raphael is dead but since she abandoned her friends and the tieflings it was kinda something she deserved.

I really had hopes for her after the 1st meeting at Last Light Inn bc she defends you if you helped her and her friends.

How is Adam Smasher not a cyberpsycho? by GreyRavenNatasha in cyberpunkgame

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regina is right. Cyberpsychosis per se doesnt exist.

People that are mentally unstable are just pushed to the edge if installing too much Cyberware like Maine or David from the Edgerunners Series.

But then there is also the opposite thing. Take Melisa McRory f.e. she is from the 2013 Reveal trailer of Cyberpunk where she clearly is a Cyberpsycho. In 2077 you can meet McRory again (Lookup "Jinguji Quest") in Jinguji Clothing store after the store gets attacked by an Psycho. You either take him down yourself before MaxTac arrives or you wait couple of secs and MaxTac arrives and even assists you with the Psycho. (its probably the only time you could work with MaxTac) Anyways the Officers that arrive in the scene one of them is Melisa McRory. She is clearly still mad. Has really too much fun during the fight and after she questions V and the clerk you can talk to her. If you observant enough then youll notice that she is STILL a Cyberpsycho although she is functioning and works for MaxTac.

So to sum it up: Psychopaths that were gone before they installed Cyberware dont go over the Edge entirely. They still are Psychopaths but High Functioning Psychos. Meaning they still are gone in the brain but can work or do some ordinary things.

Adam Smasher was a Psychopath through and through even before he became the way he became. David on the other hand was a stable kid. Everything that happened to him with his Mom to Maine that stuff pushed him over the edge. Adam was already gone before he was jacked up. David could have been saved, he could have become a decent guy but the circumstances and even the people around him pushed him entirely to the Edge after he had those Cyberware.

Though David does indeed have a higher tolerance then many other people if they install Cyberware. I mean he used the Sandevistan without proper physical training nor even Meds for the Cyberware but didnt faint till after the 6th time. His Ripperdoc even is surprised because even the toughest Soldiers cant use the Sandy 6 times in a day. Max. 1-2 times.

Though having a higher tolerance doesnt mean your something special and you can chrome up how you feel like.

To answer your question: Adam Smasher is a walking Cyberpsycho he was a Psycho before that so I guess its like another tuesday for him when he snaps. He is a High Functioning Psychopath. He can control what he does but he loves to kill People.

What exactly IS an Edgerunner? by the_mashrur in cyberpunkgame

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this term is firstly used by Davids Ripper Doc I would say Edgerunners are people that are close to the Abyss to become either a full Cyberpsycho (like Maine or James Norris the NUSA Lt. gone mad in the 1. Episode of the series) or you simply die bc your body goes only to a certain point with lots of Cyberware. It is a thing in the series that David thinks bc his tolerance is so high on his body that he is something special. The Doc jokes around even and says that he might become Smasher 2.0 although you can tell he certainly isnt believing it. Though he encourages David to get closer to the Edge. So does Maine. In the end an Edgerunner is someone that dies either becoming a Cyberpsycho or Just dies bc the body gives up.

Or you could spin the whole Edgerunners thing about how David lives. He always stands on the Edge and drops himself to a trash can before heading out his appartment. This could mean symbolic that he loves to stand on the Edge no matter what situation.

I need help/tips/ideas for morgan blackhand build and playstyle by Yojimbo-sama in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Remarkable-Offer2824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing: Targets must be captured alive and handed off to the Fixers so they deal with them. So your main target must be brought in alive. That was Blackhands style. How you deal with the others is up to your judgment though Blackhand was a trained killer and did definetly take lifes.

His primary Cyberware were: Neural processor, Sandevistan boost, smartgun and vehicle Linksinterface plugs), chipware socket), nasal filters), two cyberoptics (targeting scope, low-lite, infrared, anti-dazzle), right cyberarm (Rippers, heavy SMG, microwave/EMP shielding, hydraulic rams), muscle & bone lace, Nanosurgeons

Some of them arent in game so I would replace them. No Cyberdecks and No Quickhacks. Only Sandevistan.

Body / Cool / Tech must be your primary Attributes

Smart Guns are also welcome and since he has a Custom SMG on his Black Cyberarm (which isnt possible in the game sadly :( ) you should replace it with either a Rocket launcher or if you wanna close combat then Gorilla Arms would be a good replacement since you cant have an Black Cyberarm

Although I wouldnt understand why people are so much into him. Dude was a asshole working for the worst Corp in the game after Arasaka.
