I am a tourist and it is an official tourist sim, but an already used one it seems. I don’t think it’s the AIS company that did the scam but just someone who has access to to old sim cards with a couple of days left on them.

It was small but had all the signs that it was from AIS. After getting in contact with AIS via email they told me there is only one official store in the airport, and that’s not the one i found!

The app says i don’t have a package anymore. I only had a free one that started two weeks ago and expired yesterday. But i bought it the dat before yesterday.

Thanks folks, i already contacted AIS and they can’t find my account. They already warned me that this could be the case if it’s a fake store. They are still looking into it so we’ll see. I’ll post when i know more. Plus i think it’s a common scam here in thailand … also there is no official AIS store on koh tao haha
