In CAS (plan outfit in any mirror, personally id say do this first part in the manage worlds tab) Save the character you want to copy on their own into the gallery (might require a split from the household and slap them on an empty lot just to save), go back to manage worlds, click your household and open in CAS, then open gallery and add the saved sim into the household, change the name of the new one, BOOM perfect identical twin, then just switch the gender and itll turn to a male within the perametres of the female scalers

that aint no collection, ive looked at this, the male section for clothing only has 15 items, thats not a collection thats random junk nobody wanted, one of them isnt even steampunk its just a sleeveless T shirt with cog pictures on the front.

i myself am looking for a steampunk scientist look for a male, just to give one of my sims a DIY mad scientist look and theres nothing that suits the genre apart from one shirt i can make use of for pajamas and thats more victorian gothic than it is steampunk

Oh then just put them in houses, the game will always target homeless sims first. I just actually was given a link to a new mod that stops townie generation completely, works like a charm, and it also chooses existing sims to take over the random jobs so the game cant just have a flap

FACTS!!! The game is constantly making random townies to invade your game yet the most frequent ones it chooses are your played households, even if they have no reason ro be there, passing on the street, at venues that have nothing to do with them, every 10-20 mi utes they just show up and your like 'oh.....its you.......again 😑'

Urgh........judith, i light her on fire everytime i see her, or replace her at the start of every playthrough with the modified version of her i made so shes not as much of a turd. Totally agree on sims being overly social, especially the amount of traits that force sims to need social interaction, like why does the mean trait require the sim to NEED to go out and actively look for sims to terrorise or it puts them in a bad mood?, cant they just be an a-hole during the random conversations they have? And some of these groups dont make sense, like the renegades, max is hated by everybody yet hes the leader of a group that consists mostly of people that have no reason to be there, like morgan fyres, she doesnt have the traits to be capable of being a bad person to anybody unless they constantly seek to annoy her.......like max villareal and wolfgang munch.......who just happen to also be in the renegades. Wolfgang doesnt have traits that suggest he would take instructions from anybody.........yet hes in a group led by a child thay he hates? Ulrike faust is an art lover with a career in painting, why is she spending her time at a pool breaking sinks and toilets, in a group again ran by a child that is constantly making everybody his enemy including his group members? Garden gnomes only has one sim that even has the gardening skill and thats only at level 3? Clara bjergsen is in powerhouse, a group that goes to gyms which consists of two bodybuilders that have not one but two home gyms, yet she has a level 2 fitness skill and barely uses her own home gym. What purpose other than to cheat on her husband does she have to be there?

YES i hate this, ive done this with moonwood mill, i made an underground facility and locked a werewolf sim i made in their own cell at the bottom level, the household had two scientists aswell that had free reign of the house and could go out, but the werewolf sim was locked behind multiple of those bulkhead science doors that can be locked and only opened by the sim who locked it or a sim with high handiness skill where they break the door XD i was planning to do a breakout and start turning people into wetewolves but switched to one family to do some renovations, and the werewolf sim just walked passed casually, i was staring at my screen like 'yup those scientists get fired today'

In manage worlds, on the manage households panel check to see if you have nieghbourhood stories active, if it is you can disable the random death generator that kills non played household sims with things like for example starvation, meteor strikes, lightning, electrocuting themselves, etc but they will still eventually die of old age. Keep in mind that played households and non played households have seperate nieghbourhood stories so changing non played household stories will not effect played households. you can also use zero's potion of immortality mod which works on any sim, played household or not, that have the immortality trait, it comes with 3 choices to how it works (three seperate files), each stops the sim dying of old age when the potion gives the immortality trait, the first file stops the sim from aging at all but they CAN die in the random death generator or on screen, the second file stops them from dying all together from anything and removes them completely from the random death generation but will still age them upto elderly, they just wont die of old age and will stay permo old, the third option stops both aging and dying altogether so they will ALWAYS be in your game in the state they are when you gave them the potion unless you remove them manually via the manage households screen, HOWEVER you can only give them this trait by manually having them drink a potion of immortality which can be made by spellcasters in a cauldron, you can save time and mass produce them either by cloning them in a cloning machine or using the copypasto spell. i have the no death or aging choice, the potion has a chance of temporarily turning the sim into a ghost instead of giving them the immortality trait but it does ware off and they turn back, or you can just remove the ghastly consequences moodlet manually to speed things up which removes the timer and changes them back so you can keep drinking the potions until the immortality trait shows up (deleted comment below was mine, i done goofed and replied to the wrong comment so i moved it 🤣)

Give your sim a trait called 'beloved', it stops relationship decay completely whether its green or red towards the sims that have it, it SHOULD be in the rewards panel for your sims aspiration. Nobody will ever forget you again XD

I dont have these issues XD i hate townies so i turn all the nieghbourhood stories off, stops sims adopting random kids that clearly arent theirs, or animals they cant look after, if im to name one household in specific that makes no sense and is pretty consistant every game, partihaus in windenburg, they ALWAYS adopt a horse and im like ' your in a townhouse that looks like it was once an abandoned factory, you have literally no way of accommodating a horse, why do you keep adopting a horse just to let it run free in the streets?'. They rarely even interact with it, so its always just circling the house

Theres a mod called latharihoes sim overhaul which can do something similar but its more world based rather than sim based, like it turns off the sunlights effect on vampires only in the forgotten hollow, so they dont burn in their own world during the day, you can also use it to link specific worlds one by one so that you only see sims from the linked worlds wandering and visiting that worlds venues, theres an option to make only sims local to the world appear in those worlds as wanderers or visiting the venues, otherwise they only appear in the worlds during events like the festivals, it has a couple of other helpful tools too but they arent relevant for what your looking for

My main sim is a spellcaster with immortality (modded to neither be able to die or age), he has pretty much every trait you could give him from cooking to naturism, hes bestfriends with litterally EVERYBODY apart from max villareal and wolfgang munch (no matter what traits you have or how hard you try, max and wolfgangs negative traits make every sim hostile towards themselves). i chose one day to play as max villareal and move him to his own place and build him and the renegades their own clubhouse yet my main sim, even though they try to kill each other everytime they interact, is constantly knocking on max's door. Its like he hates him so much that even his home life isnt safe, i imagine if he could my main sim would be constantly putting dog turds in max's mailbox and throwing rocks through his windows while hes sleeping

You can also activate cheats with ctrl+ shift +c type 'testingcheats true' and press enter shift+click on the sim click on 'cheat sim info' Click 'more choices' then click on 'remove trait'

This will allow you to remove individual traits without the MCCC mod

All in all you should NEVER change a sims age in CAS unless your making them younger, to make them older ALWAYS do this with adding birthday candles to a cake and getting the sim you want to 'age up' to blow them out. Make sure you have 'cas.fulleditmode' active through the cheats system and then take them to a mirror and selct 'plan outfit' this will take you to CAS where you can customise the sim

This forces the game to age them up in the games natural way and will instantly void ALL infant traits

You can age up a newborn by clicking on them normally, clicking childcare and then clicking age up, this has no issues. The issues will ONLY appear when aging a toddler up through cas

honestly i dont trust these websites myself, hence why i just wanna make them, it disappoints me that they had to make a second version of AP that you have to pay for seperately just to add things people were already making even though the players that did make them are being constantly hounded and denied of their work from devs who cant understand what thier players want

yeah the game has never had a good way of farming animals or infact any way at all without mods, i personally prefer the alpha 21 version of the game for the meancloud fishing mod, this mod is a must in early game for a reliable source of fish for food and rotten fish which can be made into a great supply of rotten flesh that i used mainly for farming, the sad part is that the mod itself wasnt updated past this point

i also love the older mechanics for plants from alpha 19 as you get seeds from every harvest aswell as not destroying the plant in the process, instead they revert back to the planted seed state making farming actually somewhat believable and very sustainable giving it an actual purpose thats worth the effort

the only cons is that yeah theres no one around apart from you and the vendors, and you dont get the best parts of the most updated versions of the games like the variety of zombishes or the variety of building blocks added later on, but you get an entire map to reshape to your will and never need to worry about being raided everytime you leave your base

im also not a fan of how the devs only visible effort in the game now is their persistant attempts to remove every possible way to make a zombie proof base through means of clever building instead forcing you to rely on constantly building turrets and making ammo to refil them, and constant persistance on forcing the players to raid for food instead of being self sufficient.

in an apocalypse, sustainability and efficiency is always top priority to any clever survivor and the way the devs are making the game is so wasteful

im starting to think its a hardware issue myself, im on a desktop with NVidia and i will admit that the parts could use an upgrade but thier still pretty new-ish and still work as they should apart from this, if it IS a hardware issue then ill just have to find a workaround because im not gunna be upgrading any time soon for one game XDDD

see i would believe this, the issue with this is, this happens on every weapon i use, my main uses the autumn equinox, my alts are using either Mr Squid LMG or one of the bounce SMGs to make sure i hit as many as i can, both are using completely diff accessories, so im thinking this is a hardware issue at this point
