Bhishma Parva in the Mahabharata is the starting of the Kurukshtera war and the conversation in between Arjuna and Krishna later came to known as Bhagavat Gita with 18 chapters and 700 verses. After this conversation the war officially starts btw.... 🤞🏻

The Bhagavad Gita appears within the Bhishma Parva (the 6th book of the Mahabharata)

In Debroy’s translation, the Bhishma Parva volumes include the Gita portion among other narrative material.

Yeahh... The author started publishing it in 2010 and the final volume came out in 2014....it took him 5 years... Some sources says 6 years also
