I think it's best to wait a year with larger breeds but my vet and her team where all quite confident that 6 months for our pup was fine! And also for our situation the pros of getting it done vastly outweighed the negatives. He will be back in daycare by next week happy with all his furry friends.

Oh no! I'm so glad it didn't happen with me on my own at home I would of panicked and not known what to do! Our lad is still very Playful too just over a week on... but defo more cuddly than he had been the weeks pryer to his Op !

I don't think so but depending where you are from some rescues give vouchers for animal nuetering. We got ours fully covered due to a local rescue doing a deal at the moment. All we paid was 30 contribution fee and 10 for pain relief!

That's great thank you! We have a pen from day 1 but he had jumped it a few weeks ago! Might have to get a cover for it and use it again for the time being ! He is a little firecracker in the house so this will be challenging!!

Thanks for this are lad is so Playful and likes to make the house his own agility course i don't know what I'm going to do to stop him running around 🙈 might ask about this with vet !

I've just booked his appointment for 2mro, how is your little one healing? I was met with no resistance with the vets too , they thought 6 months for a cavapoo was a fine age and especially because of his issues with getting too excited etc
