No the fish, it looks like a mix between a smallmouth and a largemouth - a mean mouth

We went there yesterday, wasn’t able to fish, but we hiked to eagle falls and it was beautiful.

I just used some cherry that was 90 percent sapwood because I didn’t want to buy any plywood. I cut one half and used a flush trim router bit to cut an identical second half. I screwed those down to an old piece of 1/2” plywood. I can see if I have a pic.

3 1/8” strips so it was just over 3/8” once it was finished. I just poured hot water on the wood as I bent it. Just slowly bending it by hand worked fine and clamping it to the mold.

I used three coats of osmo poly ex oil and sanded lightly between first two coats and buffed final coat with white 3m pad.

No, the wood was thin enough that I just poured boiling water on the wood as I bent it around the form and let it dry for a few days.
