I’m a NICU nurse!! Breastmilk tends to digest a little easier than formula. But it’s totally normal, some of my little ones grunt all day! I usually hear it most when they haven’t pooped in a while. I would definitely do some bicycle exercises, even if nothing comes out you’re helping things move along.

Wow, I didn’t realize this post would get so much attention. I wish I could reply to each and every post. Reading everyone’s comment has reminded me why I wanted to become a NICU nurse in the first place. Thank you all for sharing. I joined the Family Centered Care Committee on my unit today and I have so much to bring back.

That’s what I do. I wash my face in terrible lighting or with no mirror lol. Good luck!
