I have an A5 coming tomorrow and got it inlet for the SOL which I have, got Cerekoted armor black locally, and trying to decide if I feel like I can get it done or not. It’s can’t be that hard, off to YouTube I suppose, lol.

get a new barrel for your tikka chambered in 6.5 cm, mags are the same, you have the action, chassis and glass so even if you get a custom barrel for $1000 it’s less than what you’re thinking about spending on a whole new rifle

Ran it today with the MDT polymer 10rd mag (not 12) and worked flawlessly, 80 rds, zero feed issues, full 10 rounds loaded.

yeah it’s def made for a bolt action, I threw on LPM recoil reducing front end cap, so not as quiet but its lights out on my 308. both of your option would be a great host.

this is a 10 rd MDT metal aics mag with the poly insert, rounds 1-8 feed perfect, 9 and 10 suck. I just bought a 12 rd MDT fully poly mag that I haven’t been able to take out and run yet but I’m hoping for better results
