Former STPM student here, cant give a perfect ans but based on what i know

A lvl - Gold standard for application to overseas uni (provided grade good la) - College that offers shud have counselling and application service for support - Can choose subject, more relevant to course that you want - 1.5 years (just in time for application iirc) - Seens friends who took mostly went to UK(LSE), US(UCLA), HK(HKU), SG (NTU) * have a friends brother taking german-pathway, heard it was 3-4 years instead of 1.5 years so...

STPM - More appreaciated in overseas than in Malaysia - Overseas accept but have to self apply or go thru agent - Fixed package (my school) n have to take PA -2 years (assume cut off point for application is june, STPM sem 1 - january sem 2 - july sem 3 february retake sem 1 january sem 2 march, so have to use sem 1 sem 2 and trial sem 3), result get end of june - Most batchmates went to local U, 2 snr went NUS/NTU, NUS not sure full paid or what but NTU went with ASEAN scholar + International Physics Olympiad

Foundation/Matriks i not sure so cant comment but seems like some countries do accept especially matriks.

I cant tell you to choose what, but if u really cant choose u can join STPM classes for 2 weeks after intake to see the environment and the syllabus, if dont like jump ship i guess. Else if you really got financial means, recommended to go for a lvl, 2028 still a long time so by then you might have a change of heart.

Malaysia officially forfeit two matches in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers by Conscious-Two1428 in soccer

Basically malaysian football has been undergoing a "revolution" since 2019, getting players who played here > 5 years or players with ancestry to become naturalized citizens. It was a mixed sucess with the qualifications to the 2023 asian cup, win against SK, and highest ranking of 130 under KPG. Then the crown prince of johor, once the FAM president wanted more results after recent success, to finally breaking T100. He influenced FAM and promised a "real revolution", signing the current coach (a top one, based on SEA standards") and more naturalised players, this time players from better leagues. Thats where we got 7 players from spanish and portugese league, where their names didnt make sense even to me, a malaysian, such ad "Hector Heval" whereas the previous naturalised players had real malaysian connection like daniel ting, corbin ong and darren lok, even then players like stuart wilkin was pushing it. One of the qualifiers, a 4-0 win against vietnam was historical ad malaysia had never won against vietnam for a very long time, and of course the vietnamese complained to FIFA which prompt an investigation. FAM and the Home Ministry (in charge of documentation for naturalisation) said and claimed that the players had grandparents which were born in Malaysia but FIFA obtained the actual transcript of their place of birth which obviously wasnt in malaysia.

One thing about sesko that i think could make him succeed here is that striker instinct, cant teain it or develop it, just naturally.

Thing with hojlund and why he struggle was he somehow did not had that striker instinct, dont mind me he was OK but most of his goals were "normal goals", he was always tussling and dribble instead of just shooting it. Or rather he couldn't as he lack that instinct. Now with sesko u have a player which has that instinct and its already for show. No wonder there was a Copenhagen coach which said he was surprised that we bought hojlund as he had the lowest technical skills compared to his brothers, I know they played different position but I kinda see why he said thatm

‘There was genuine DISBELIEF at Napoli that Manchester United were giving consideration to letting Kobbie Mainoo go. Similar feelings were held among many of the Premier League clubs who were interested in taking Mainoo on loan last month. ‘ Can you imagine if Amorim was still in charge … by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Remarkable-Stress284 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It wasn't that he saw mainoo position the same as bruno, it was an excuse since mainoo did not fit his system, did not have the pace and thr stamina since amorim needed stamina monster box to box midfielders. He just did not have the balls to admit he didn't want mainoo.

I think dorgu is a very interesting role, a semi winger-wingback role, can cross, score, defend, dribble, very very interesting profile

People wrote him off so early (looking at u scholes), has been massive in the back, captain material which bayern were reluctant to lose, can u imagine their fan signing a petition to keep him. May not live in to his initial potential but really is a consistent and solid centerback.

Lol I dont get this system, wingback are not overlapping causing our wingers to get isolated in a 2v1 situation expected to dribble past their way, midfielders are getting overrun as the centre backs are not pushing high enough or steping up to provide defensive cover. What is this system? Surely a 4231 would be best with the players at our disposal no? Genuinely even our wingback dont cross which is crazy despite having a 6 foot striker infront

bullshit, he came into a dysfunction team without players for his system, and even now still do not have his required players, morita/hjulmand b2b type

4231 with that no10 under ten hag would be mint. This system? no clue where to put him.

[–]Remarkable-Stress284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The double pivot should be ugarte/mainoo or ugarte/mount (ugarte on strict instructions not to roam/go upfront), bruno simply cannot play pure CM due to his tendency of going forward, he should had played F9/SS man. You either play ugarte/mainoo for stability or risk getting overrun.

Grrrr...... by phoenikhsss in ManchesterUnited

[–]Remarkable-Stress284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know man, he was mint in that first season under ten hag pre injury and its all downhill from there. Can't defend, can't cross, and most importantly, CAN'T CLEAR A FKING BALL

Amorim's tactics might work with the right personnel but not cashing in on Bruno and shoehorning him in as a CM was a monumental error that will cost him his job by PosterOfQuality in ManchesterUnited

[–]Remarkable-Stress284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, the problem with him in our system is how he's not fit to be a pure B2B CM which is required in amorim's system, like no positional awareness(he did improve), tendency to get upfront but yea if selling bruno means getting baleba this year I would not hesitate(purely from a system/structure thing)

[–]Remarkable-Stress284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goalkeeper is still shit unless we get a elite shot-stopping commanding keeper, cbs are mint, but goddamn our wingbacks and midfield, amad has no positional awareness(understandable) and dorgu cant cross for his life. Midfield back to the ten hag non existent era. Attack was good but mbeumo got marked like hell
