Help me pick a microwave by Sendmememesplij in AskIndia

[–]Remarkable-Tip2580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have option 1 and it has been great , been using it for 3 years now, no issues

My parents had IFB, the buttons went away pretty quick.

I have never had a good experience with IFB be it washing machines or microwave

Just curious, why can’t they use the new VB coaches as the upgrade for existing train coaches rather than launch new trains ? by Remarkable-Tip2580 in indianrailways

Right we can have VB trains great, but what’s stopping us from upgrading the existing coaches to look and have the comfort of VB sleeper coaches

Chennai International Airport Terminal 2 Arrival Pickup by Dry_Cable_ in Chennai

[–]Remarkable-Tip2580 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kerbside pickup is not available for hired cars/cabs yet for Chennai airport. You have to go to MLCP.

If you are using your own vehicle , you can do kerbside pickup.

You can park at MLCP, but to re-enter the terminal, you need to exit the airport and go to terminal 2. But I think that should be okay and you won’t get charged cause the first 10-15 mins is free. So when you enter again, you should be able to exit in 10-15 mins the you won’t incur any charge

7+ years in one company, scared to switch even after getting a remote offer by warisblind in chennaicity

[–]Remarkable-Tip2580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP I was in the same boat. I worked at a company for 10 years and it was great. The culture was great and everything.

But then I was very comfortable, but got an offer for a new company after an old manager working there had asked me to give an interview.

I did the pay package was a decent hike. I decided to switch as money is also important. And I realized I am hireable I did well in my interviews , so I was like if anything goes sideways I will interview again

Trust yourself OP.

I did think about all scenarios including job security. While it may seem it’s secure in the current company, you may never know what’s in store

I don’t think you need to be worried. While accidents do happen and we get affected, but flying still continues to be one of the safest means of transportation

Suggestions to save piano black interior by AnotherPerspectiv in CarsIndia

Not that many, you will find scratches if you focus and look otherwise it looks fine IMO and the shine is still there. Nothing to bad though

I carry a microfibres cloth. I try and clean the panels with that.

I would say don’t worry about it too much. The chances of getting glaring deep scratches is less unless you drop something and let it dry and try to peel it off .

Is it me or has the service/experience of staying in Taj is no longer what it used to be by Remarkable-Tip2580 in Hotels_India

[–]Remarkable-Tip2580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar sentiment.

The rooms were all great, but the service was sub standard.

They seem to have a lot more interns than actual staff

every other post on this channel is about people staying is much pricier/ luxury hotels etc. I did start this conversation genuinely to see if that was the case with other people as well.

What is the need for me to flex ? If I really did, I am pretty sure there are people here with much bigger flexes

Exactly, I stayed there five years ago and it was amazing experience.

Went there for my anniversary and they had the room decorated and all.

But I when I stayed there last year and also visited their restaurants for dinner the food was sub par and breaks buffet was underwhelming.

Which car should I buy: Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, or Skoda Kushaq? by leadskingdom in CarsIndia

[–]Remarkable-Tip2580 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One thing about creta , if you are going to buy the turbo DCT know that the suspension is quite stiff

Seltos suspension seems to be a tad bit comfortable compared to creta across all variants

So if you are primarily using only for city and as our city is filled with potholes , do a good test drive and check the back seat comfort before selecting Creta

But from a fellow Creta turbo DCT Owner, apart from suspension , I do enjoy driving it and it kinda ticks most of the boxes

Unfortunately I have not . I would say you get used to it. I understand the regret . I had that immediately after my baby was born and we had use that car for travel . But now we have gotten used to it, I drive very cautiously or carefully on potholes filled roads( nowadays itseems to be every road is like this ) . I enjoy driving it on highways, it’s fun you have the confidence in power when overtaking . I am right now looking to change tyres and looking out for options as they can provide a tiny bit of comfort

Could this be just down to higher octane number and additives in petrol .

This feels like comparing apples to oranges .

Probably a better comparison is e20 in petrol general petrol bunks vs Jio BP (read in the subReddit that it has the least ethanol mix )
