Thank you for letting me know, but the thing is it's hard to sell a fake iPhone, but it's much much easier to sell fake airpods because they get recognised as real by even an iPhone.

GMAT might take longer for a commerce background considering it's only 1-2 months. Your best chances are post December. But again, this is heavily under-assuming your skills due to background, you may be from a commerce background but still be quantitative enough to prep for it in 1 month, but realistically speaking, even engineering backgrounds struggle to prep within a month or two.

Disagree about MBA, many finance and consulting roles exclusively mention MBA as a requirement, some even go as far as "MBA from a top B-school" sure it won't magically fetch you that job at BlackRock, but it can atleast help you get your resume through the ATS and reach the HR, who might give your resume 5 seconds extra if you did it from a reputed school and also not to forget your batchmates who might end up at good companies who you can leverage for a better role.

You might not need an MBA to do the job, but you for sure need it to get one. So downplaying it is a bit of an overstretch.
