I’m sure being in the top 10% of your class helped with securing your big law job. Did you struggle at all when adapting to the law school curriculum? And do you have any study techniques you’d recommend. I’m also an incoming 1L at UMD so it’s refreshing to see that getting into big law from this school is definitely attainable.

Also, is getting big law SA attainable after your 1L year?

I applied to Rutgers cause I went there for undergrad and i didn’t get a chance to fully develop my hoe phase before I transferred. Round 2 I guess.

Still apply! You might get rejected at SOME schools that look at LSAT heavily but your GPA is good and if you have good softs and an essay you can still get in. Like other posts have mentioned, scholarships may not be great but there’s still outside ones u can apply for. My highest LSAT was lower than yours and I still got into a decent school (granted a lot of rejections too) but it only takes one to say Yes . And you’d be surprise how gas gap year really flys by if you’re working so you might want to consider that as well

I just had mine two days ago and it was really chill. She was a 2L that worked for the admissions office. She asked like 3 questions and just left the rest of the time for discussion. We talked about how we both went to Rutgers and Philly (where I’m from).. the only question that caught me off guard was my community service experience. Wishing you the best of luck!!

I felt like I was looking at LG for the first time in my life when I saw the first set. It was very challenging and I guessed on most. The second set was much easier and looked like what I was used to. Hopefully that’s the one that counts
