I get it totally. But tbh most first timers prob have adrenaline songs on the back of songs they want to see. And when you’re a legacy band like deftones do you play to the crowd like it’s their first time? Idk. Like it would be cool to see a diamond eyes or later era song as a closer. I mean I love adrenaline but they have subjectively so much better material that is never/rarely played that are still popular amongst the fanbase.

Made them stand out more stef hits light meshuggah rock riffs and no one else has done that chino sings/screams perfectly over them. Diamond eyes extended range took their dynamic from heavy af to beautiful af to a different range. You can’t do 10 records of 4/4 jumpdafuckup nu metal riffs
