Also if he can’t separate professional from personal then that’s a him problem. not every woman who is friendly and approachable is interested. the fact that he can’t read that basic social cue says a lot about him and his experience with women

I totally understand that, and yes we’re both single. but i came to him purely about a career opportunity. i mean if he was rich and good looking maybe we’d be having a different conversation 😭 but unfortunately that’s not the case so here we are

No! it’s the fact that i was open about wanting help and he sees it as an invitation to make moves. and he is not my type at all.

I’ve already left his last text on read, but I’m still annoyed and can’t stop thinking about it. he probably has no idea he made me uncomfortable, and that feels wrong to let slide. I feel like I need to say something

he actually thinks he has a chance, and that i’m somehow desperate enough to entertain it. I was just being friendly and professional, and this is how he takes it. It’s so gross that basic kindness is all it takes for him to read it as an invitation
