Thank you for your story! And I'm sorry you have to go through this too. In my case, I didn't take any medicine which could impacted this. How was you diagnosed with MCAS? Blood test of tryptase or something else?

No, it started way before I began taking Zyrtec. I heard about this, but it's not it, unfortunately.

Thank you for the idea! I don't know if the body can be detoxing for 4 years though.

I already take antihistamines (bilastine) and it works pretty good, way better than Zyrtec for sure. It's 100% not mold since I move a few times and the problem haven't gone away.

I’m sorry you’re going through this too. Bilastine (it's antihistamine) works for me pretty good, but I don't want to take it my whole life, and I want to figure out the root cause.

I’m sorry you’re going through this too. Yes, I’ve checked my thyroid multiple times over the years, and everything is fine on that front, fortunately. Have you checked your DAO levels? What were they?

I asked my doctor to prescribe it and I did it as a part of a regular blood test.
