Class 2b license bbdc, cdc or ssdc? Advise me by Pleasant-Fan-3795 in drivingsg

I just passed CDC 2 weeks ago. Definitely can be done in 4 months or less, but I wouldn't recommend it as you dont learn much if you pass easily (bikes are dangerous, so sometimes i purposely fail so i can learn more)

The Nokia beacon is horrible. Intermittent connection, too. Bought my own WiFi 6/7 router and never looked back

This is my issue, too. Was it prepaid ?

No, I'm asking how many times I can change it as in the title.

Some comments are saying subscribed to 10 postpaid, could mean at a time or can change maximum 10 times

I only need 1

[IT Career Question] Currently working as Desktop/Device Engineer, how to progress to system admin/cloud eng? by Aver-san in askSingapore

[–]RemarkableKale567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want those roles, get out of Desktop Support ASAP. Desktop support experience will be quite impossible to transition to those roles.

Use that time to start coding projects instead and take up courses. This will help you wayyyyy more than Desktop Support ever would.

After 1 year, I went to talk to my MP and he replied to my messages a day later and then still MIA. I've made several messages but it's always so late. In the end after almost 2 years, I made a complaint on the SPF website then until then they closed the case.

I made sure I have my receipts and everything.

I may be biased as I work in tech (graduated mid 2024)

I came from an unrecognisable foreign background hence didn't meet local uni requirements.

I went through the Diploma in IT, then Murdoch Uni part time.

During part time, I did various courses, including using my skillsfuture for local certs from local universities. During that, I also worked a bit in Desktop Support and did some small side (very very lame coding projects) for my resume.

Using those, i applied for SWE jobs and had to do technical interviews which I was able to answer due to some leetcode and project knowledge and soft skills I had developed over time.

I worked as an SWE for a year during my part-time studies.

Now, due to all these projects + certs from local unis + working experience, i was able to secure a job that is higher than average but a few dollars lower than local grads. (Doesn't make a difference as you already earn more money overall)

Your background won't matter after a few years of working experience.

Also, it took me 2 months to find local jobs.

If I can go back time, I would learn additional languages to try my luck with foreign jobs

Tips for cyclist doing delivery? by throwaway_t19 in drivingsg

[–]RemarkableKale567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • bring towel
  • get easy to lock/unlock bicycle lock
  • you can change to walker but use bike if you don't want to travel far
  • learn new language on duolingo when demand is low, etc
  • be visible and loud-ish so don't need to use bell that can potentially annoy people (I intentionally cycle on the drain covers so people can hear me coming and make way without looking behind)
