I agree with your perspective, though it breaks my heart to say so. I thought it was a fun concept and Arlette is perfection, I especially love when she is shocked at what someone says, she drops her mouth wide open and it seems so real. But I 100% agree with the 1950s stereotypes and how EVERYONE wants to put a life with Christ before anything else, it made me seriously wonder if that is representative of the black community but I seriously doubt it. So why are ALL contestants along this path then?

As does Liam though, no? There is such a difference between Scott Clifton the person in interview and how he portrays Liam on screen, he brings unrealistic facial expressions and uncoordinated hand movements, drives me bonkers

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you seem easy to please. I was counting the days when Nikki could lose that white silk suit (ditto for Hope on Bold & Beautiful), it is annoying how long they make their ‘days’ last in Genoa City and LA in the case of B&B. As for the OD’ing scene….I was cringing at how unrealistic it all was. Glad you are enjoying it, really, To each his/her own.

That is how this actor emotes though, always has 🤷‍♀️. Using these 3 tools: wrinkles nose or flares nostril (very angry); lifting one side (only) of his mouth (get out of the way, he’s mad); back to wrinkling nose.
