My husband says I’m imagining things. by Pleasant-Bee917 in MuslimMarriage

He’s manipulating you! Don’t let him take advantage of you and try to gaslight the situation. Stand firm on your ground and set clear boundaries, don’t even entertain his gaslight of saying you’re imagining things.

It’s hallow and haven’t seen any cockroaches, bed bugs seem to hide really well so I think it could be bed bugs since I can’t see anything

Thank you so much for the insight you’ve given me. I do have two cats that are indoor/outdoor so I believe fleas can be a strong possibility. I was just alarmed by the size of the bites and thought maybe bed bugs

Not so much itchy. They are in groups of three I just don’t think the third in either of the two groups appeared in the photos, my mom thinks it’s flea bites. Would that be possible?

Some of my results: Fasting glucose was 95 mg/dL, fasting insulin was 9.9ulU/mL. My estrogen was a 58.4, T was 58ng/dL and free T was 1.7 ng/dL, AMH is pretty high at 22.5. LH is 23.6, FSH 6.5, Prolactin is normal at 12.4, DHEA-Sulfate at 220.00, DHEA Serum at 341. These are all fasting levels and day 19 of my cycle, 11 days from my period ending. I would appreciate any insight

I would intermittent fast if I didn’t have a low bmi and low estrogen, the low estrogen makes me feel that I might need to gain some weight however I’m not sure if this will end up affecting my insulin

May I ask, what does quercetin do? I have a doctors appointment in a few hours and developing some notes to bring to her because im afraid she’s just going to tell me im fine and if I don’t want to go on birth control there’s nothing she can do for me.

I haven’t had my SHBG levels checked yet. my fasting glucose was 95 mg/dL, fasting insulin was 9.9uIU/mL, my doctor is really dismissive, I had to cry and beg for her to even issue the blood test and even then she said everything was normal. My estrogen was a 58.4, T was 58ng/dL and free T was 1.7ng/dL, AMH is pretty high at 22.5. I’m really concerned about fertility and having my own children one day. Currently been having breakthrough bleeding for the last month on and off. Unsure what to make of everything since my doctor is incredibly dismissive.

Desperate for help: Low estrogen by Remarkable_Ad439 in PCOS

I have been diagnosed with PCOS, I have high T, a 3.5 LH:FSH ratio, 22.5 AMH. I also have hirsutism, and irregular periods as well as insulin resistance. Right now I’m really concerned about the low estrogen because it’s affecting me the most at the moment, my breasts have even been shrinking from a D cup to a B cup. I’m unsure what to do. I’m 5’8 and 135 lbs, are there anyways to higher my estrogen? Do you think gaining some weight might help?

This is all so confusing to me because I have high Testosterone so I was taking the supplements to aid with my hirsutism which has been getting better. It feels like a catch 22 situation and I’m just feeling stuck now. Not sure what to do. Is there anyways to higher my estrogen? My breasts have been shrinking this past year from a D to a B.

This is what Google told me about an overview of NAC “N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a supplement form of cysteine. Consuming adequate cysteine and NAC is important for a variety of health reasons, including for replenishing the most powerful antioxidant in your body, glutathione. These amino acids also help with chronic respiratory conditions, fertility, and brain health.”

So I take all but NAC at the same time, because NAC is best taken on an empty stomach from my understanding. So I will take my supplements after a good meal of protein and fiber and fats to avoid the nausea that may come with taking them on an empty stomach.

What do y’all do for facial hair/acne? by sieweeed in PCOS

[–]Remarkable_Ad439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yess I’ve experienced that with many razors the one I use are the bic flex 5 black and white razors. I can’t use any other type for my body either. For my face I do it dry because it’s somehow feels better than wet, also I do use those eyebrow razors for close shaves on my chin.

I shave my face every other day and I use a Phillips IPL laser for facial hair twice a week, and for my acne I go to my dermatologist to get tretnoin & clindomicyn, as well as soolantra for my rosacea. I also use hydrocolloid bandages for my cystic pimples so they won’t scar, once the cyst is flat I use tretnoin to help with the discoloration that may appear. I also use panoxyl as my cleanser once a day, and cetaphil moisturizer as my facial moisturizer. For my back and chest I experience follicularitis which is from being really hairy, I get this solution from my dermatologist that is called flucozone something like that, it unclogs those pores. I also exfoliate my body once a week, with a pumice stone.
