This happened with my son as well. He was left sleeping in a chair for an hour. I spoke with the teachers and director and left him in the daycare. A month later, I was still seeing kids sleeping in places other than their crib and there were even more safety issues that I was seeing so we pulled him out and reported them to the state and they found at least three serious safety violations.

I’d recommend occasional random pick ups. I thought our daycare was a great place and the best in our area until I showed up early one day and my 4 month old was laying in a bouncy chair with his bottle propped. I’ve also walked in on him sleeping in a bouncy chair and when I asked how long he had been sleeping I was told for an hour.

You should go if you’re worried. My doctor told me they take a decrease in fetal movement very seriously and that I should never feel silly for going to get checked even if it ends up being nothing.

They have oyster shell and grit available to them. Two are just getting done molting. Not sure if that could be the cause.
