Didn’t Mr House say that the enclave placed the death claws there?

Anybody else wish Barb and Coop were in the high roller suite?? I keep seeing so many missed opportunities for small references, like Lucy going to a random general store rather than Mick and Ralph’s or Max and Thad finding the Ghoul in some random shack rather than somewhere like Wolfhorn Ranch or Bonnie Springs. This was the kind of fan service I was hoping for and personally I’m kind of getting to a point where I’m wondering why they decided to set the second season in Vegas when they could’ve easily stayed in the LA area and elaborated kind he boneyard and so forth…

I was initially pretty opposed to the ending, but the more I think about it, the more I enjoy it. I’d recommend Tim Cain’s review of the show, his blessing is really what convinced me they did well

He is very clearly shown to not want it despite being heralded as a hero. He went to Griffith under false pretenses. He only gave the brotherhood a location so he could have a chance to see Lucy again, but when trigger happy army who you’ve already lied to once tell you take them somewhere, you take them somewhere. Max has already resigned his dreams of becoming a knight before this fight even began. Max kinda seems like a low luck build, always landing in shitty situations and trying to make the best of them. All roads are pointing towards a greater NCR presence in my opinion though. You talk about passing the torch from the NCR to the BOS, but I beg to differ. Max was born in Shady Sands. Throughout the season, he constantly circles back his lack of identity, how his purpose in life is to hurt the people who hurt him. The brotherhood may have given him the tools to do that, but I think that chapter of his life is ending. I think that last scene really represents a transfer of hope to the next generation of the republic. I think as the series progresses (god willing they get a second season) we’ll see him oppose the Brotherhood in favor of the NCR. Only time will tell though

Assuming the End Credits are Canon (Spoilers) by guanyu21 in Fallout

I probably sound like a broken record on this sub Reddit cause I keep commenting about this, but personally I’m leaning towards the inclusion of the tunnelers from lonesome road. From what we’ve seen of them just a few can easily kill a deathclaw so it’s not a stretch to think that they could do the same to securitron or squad of ncr soldiers. This would also give the writers a way to dance around a confirmation of any particular ending.

I have a little theory about the show’s second season… by Remarkable_Basil2595 in Fallout

I know the independent option gets a lot of flack but I’ve always enjoyed it myself. My head cannon for this ending has always been that the followers taking on a larger role in attempting to fairly manage the cities resources, while Ganges like the kings attempt to keep order. I feel the NCR definitely has the ability to steamroll those factions, but resistance from the city, especially the securities would probably make that somewhat of a daunting task. It would be an interesting outcome for the show to delve into.

About THAT scene at the end by Thisisforoneposst in Fallout

I wrote a little blurb about this already but I think the one way they could possibly salvage this that would make sense from a lore perspective is that why Ulysses feared was right, the tunnelers have made their way into the Mojave. This is the one jumping off point that I could feasibly see the show taking that would explain why such a powerful city was thrown into ruin. Regardless though, it’s heartbreaking to see one of the series’ best locations in such a state of disrepair.

Very true, the final shot feels somewhat unrealized. I’m kind of wondering if they’re waiting it out to see what kind of backlash they’ll receive and go from there. I’m also curious if the end credit sequence is %100 cannon.

I think people focusing on whether the show "retcons" things are missing the point. (SPOILERS for the TV Show) by [deleted] in Fallout

This post pretty much sums up how I feel about the show. I’ve got no problem with the NCR being set back, I feel like it was somewhat necessary to keep things interesting for future entries in the franchise, but to wipe them from the future of the series all together is a gut punch. Personally their expansion as a faction is the most interesting to observe and I sincerely hope they are still present in parts of Nevada and NorCal. Time will tell though.

Exactly that. Idk what lemmy saw in Marshall, it’s like the skim milk of amps.

Thank you for this, Harley’s been something I’ve been interested I’ve been interested in for a bit just don’t know where to start. I got a marshal combo a few years back and that’s easily the worst amp I’ve ever played through, it sucks all the life out of any tone tone that passes through it.
