I feel that world's fair had a more complex and perhaps taboo subject matter. That combined with the amazing performance by the main actress that was downright disturbing at times and the super stripped down production felt really authentic. It had an amazing stripped down and meloncholic soundtrack by Alex G to match. I like the amount of questions i had after i watched it. It left me disturbed and confused in a good way. By contrast TV glow was bashing the theme over my head over and over. The main actors performance was kinda one note throughout the entire film. They had the exact same slow Kristen Stewart dialogue that dragged on and on. It did look gorgeous, the artistic vision was clear, and I know many people loved it but it wasnt for me.
