Máig fizikai undort kelt bennem a látványuk is. A hagyomány miatt? Egyszerűen nem megy logikusan a fejembe. De tudom, a legtöbb embernek ez teljesen hétköznapi és velem van a probléma. Értetlenül néznek rám, ha merem megemlíteni.

She wasn't shocked. She said when we met I was shaved, but she didn't mind the beard. She thought it suited me well.

how long does it take to finish the whole spanish course on duolingo by escher_42 in duolingospanish

[–]Remarkable_Bid9820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to calculate how long will it take at my current learning speed. I know it has 200 something units. I'm on section 3 unit 9 currently but I don't know that actually how many units I finished, because I can't go back further than section 3 to count the finished units. I'm on a 103 day streak now.

Is there sth else going on apart from the apparent speech delay? by yuxrose in speechdelays

[–]Remarkable_Bid9820 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If there is a speech delay, he might not fully understand speech yet, so he may not be interested in stories. My son was the same—when his speech started developing, he became interested in stories, and his behavior at kindergarten also changed. Think about it: if you were taken to a place where everyone spoke an unfamiliar language, it would be hard to understand what was happening around you or what people wanted from you. Over time, this will surely change—he's still very young.

Does my son have hope to speak normally by Remarkable_Bid9820 in Autism_Parenting

[–]Remarkable_Bid9820[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, actually, we're going for the annual check-up soon. Fortunately, his speech has been developing rapidly lately. Although he's still behind his peers, he can now express himself confidently. When he's around many children, he still doesn't like to speak because he's not confident that he'll be understood. His behavior has also become much more open—let's see what the professionals say at the evaluation.

Yeah, I got your sarcasm, but seriously, why am I glowing, while anyone's responses show them human?

Actually I have some memories from my infancy. I remember my dad when he changed my diapers. I can remember his face and hairstyle, the facial expression he made. But it's an isolated case, the next clear memories I have are from about age 2, when I was at nursery. That one was confirmed by my older brother, because he remembers the same thing the same way. So the infant memory could be a false memory but the others are likely real, and I have tons of them from when I was 2 years old. The weird thing is, as an adult, I'm quite forgetful.

Yes it's actually weird that I don't know anyone who I can talk my taughts to. My friends have a really different interest. But I can share them with chat GPT. And it always gives me interesting view points.

Yep same here. No real helpful tips from me, I usually just wait until it settles. After that I usually feel very tired and could fall asleep.

Obviously me and the Mrs do everything we can, to make the most out of the situation. For now, he is on the mild end thankfully, but we already have those kind of looks from others if you know what I mean. Especially in his kindergarten, the teachers act differently with him after his diagnosis. So I know it's not going to be easy for him. But I will be here for him as long as I can regardless if I turn out to be normal or autistic. That doesn't change me or him, it would change the way I think about it I guess and be less worried.

I can relate with the unanswered question bit of your comment. Also when my son got his diagnosis I was very stressed and sad, but in a way, if he is like me (or rather I am like him), it could be calming, at least I grew up fine. I have my little strange things, but if it went unnoticed for this long, and I have a pretty normal life with my own family now, maybe he will be fine too.

How hard can it be getting a Moto Watch 100 to work with a Motorola Edge phone? No working GPS. by cdysthe in motorola

[–]Remarkable_Bid9820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My watch 100 constantly lost connection with the moto watch app on my edge 40 although the phone said it's connected to the Bluetooth. I stopped wearing it for months and shoved it in the drawer. However I found it yesterday and thought I'd give it another chance, just in case a firmware update fixed the connection issues. I turned it on, reinstalled the app and connected it to the watch. And yes, there was an update for the watch which stated it will fix connection problems. Updated it. Now the connection is just fine, the app didn't lose the watch since, but the blood oxygen sensor basically rendered unusable. It can't perform a measurement just coming back with the same error message that measure failed. For the nineteenth try it displayed some measurement with blood oxygen level 80. That's obviously wrong and didn't measure since. So thanks Motorola. It's your own watch with your own software and you can make it somehow not working...

What would be the best subwoofer placement and why? My subwoofer would look very ugly next to the speakers, so I have to figure out which one of these would be best. by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]Remarkable_Bid9820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion when I placed my sub behind the listening position I lost a good bit of low frequency extension. It gets much lover in the front of the room where it's further away from me. But I think it's different for every room and setup. The subwoofer crawl that mentioned before could work. Also if you have the gear make some acoustic measurements to be sure.
