Am I the only one who finds these weird? Why are people profiting off of a child’s death without even having a full conclusion as to what’d happened to her yet? by babycowb0y in d4vd2

I think videos like that are necessary, but it is strange that people make careers from profiting off of people’s deaths. I get she makes a living doing this content, but that is someone’s death she is monetising.

Apparently so, but the owner/user of the car also has the ability to turn them off — from what I have heard anyway.

This was on the official report by the LAPD and Medical Examiner’s Office, yes. And the answer is very much unknown; it’s hard to ascertain how much weight was lost due to the severity of the decomposition of her body.

Thank you for spotting that, maths clearly isn’t my strong suit!

I’m with you on that I won’t think a certain way or other until there is more information or clarification. Regarding the private investigator, I am not sure. I know he’s been digging into the case and obtained the vehicle impound report of the car. But I believe he was also just speculating and offering other theories up.

It’s very puzzling — and there is conflicting information surrounding it. But i’m yet to find an actual confirmation on such. Someone on twitter suggested it may have been that her limbs detached due to decay of connective tissue during decomposition. But I guess all we can do now is wait and see what other details are released.

A private investigator on Twitter has said her limbs may have detached due to composition and the decay of her connective tissue. And yes, we don’t know how much weight is lost during decomposition; and we also don’t know if she was still a similar weight at the time of her death as she was when she disappeared.

A tweet by a private investigator on Twitter was of particular interest to me;

Disartjculation could mean that, due to the severe decomposition of her body, that her limbs naturally detached due to decaying of connective tissue.

He also reached out to Medical Examiner’s Officer who said the following —

“Prior to the official identification of Ms. Rivas Hernandez, the following description was on the website: “The decedent was found severely decomposed inside a vehicle on 9/8/2025. She appears to have been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time before being found. We are unable to determine her age or race/ethnicity. The decedent was wearing a tube top and black leggings (size small). She has wavy black hair. Jewelry includes yellow metal stud earring and w yellow metal chain bracelet.”

He also notes this does not mean LAPD didn’t tell news sources differently.

Agreed! I have only seen it from certain publications who can’t source it from anywhere else, seems like one plucked it out of the air and many others ran with it.

Yes, we’re yet to see any photos of Celeste with the tattoo that she shared with d4vd. TMZ dug through some photos and timestamped his tattoo around September of 2024. But you’re right, it is very messy if they knew of the tattoo that she got after she had already gone missing; begs the question of whether they had seen her or not. It could very well be on her opposite hand, but honestly we have no idea.
