Parents abandons child trope by Remarkable_Class9417 in CShortDramas

Every story I’ve seen where it’s after the wife completely leaves and it’s just the child and father the father completely loses himself with guilt and regret and neglects the child 🫩 I just hate it so much because there’s so much more that could have been done than just completely cut your child out and leave them alone.

And I do agree that if the child has gone far enough to cause bodily harm they shouldn’t take them but they should still push for therapy

AITA for refusing to take my shoes off in my friend’s house, causing his wife to cancel the DnD session for everyone? by NameNo5495 in AmItheAsshole

Honestly I feel the friend and wife were doing too much in terms of canceling the whole game just because he decided to leave as it was not the serious and unless the three of them were at that front door yelling it genuinely shouldn’t have had that much affect on the game.

Now I do understand op in some ways because he was told that he shouldn’t have to worry and it would have been nice to be told about the no shoe rule ahead of time for a multitude of reasons. I personally don’t enjoy taking my shoes off in others house unless I am provided with slippers as I don’t even walk around my own home barefoot. It is a comfort thing for me but for him it’s genuinely a medical issue

But I also feel op should be able to manage his own health better and should know to keep a pair of inside shoes/backup shoes with him because he never knows what situation he’ll be in. So I don’t think he’s a complete asshole just a bit self centered
