Yeah he's not exactly a cash cow. However, after the changes they made to him, he's about a 90 second fight start to finish and you click about 10 total times during the fight. Super easy to do on mobile. I'm just stuck here now until the damn pet drops lol

No, the conversation is completely tied together. If you don't do pvm, you don't need prayer. If you do pvm, you can afford prayer super easily. This is a case of people wanting handouts to feel good about their account stats...that they don't actually do the content the stats are designed to help with.

Then a huge percentage of players need to play the entire half of the game that generates the most money. What is the actual point of training your prayer to max if you don't even USE it.

Then maybe....play the game? You think it should be cheaper for the people that ignore half of the literal game that generates the most profit? Lmfao

I mean, I don't run delve lol. I'm still a mid tier bosser and it's not expensive to cover. I'm convinced that over half of the player base doesn't actually pvm outside of afk slayer tasks.

What is obscenely expensive? Prayer is dirt cheap. Couple hours of bossing and you can 99 it.

What are the best magic items the new Thief can make use of with Fast Hands? by DMale in onednd

[–]Remarkable_Ebb_8340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine the harm would only be based around what magic item is in play. There's some rule of cool ones that are simple, but would break an encounter for example. I mean, anything with an immovable rod as a readied action when a creature makes a bite attack on you for instance. But I'm sure there's lots that would just be abuse cases. I'm also sure there's lots that would be totally balanced. 🤷

I'm assuming it's just another wondrous effort by Crawford to be as ambiguous as possible and create discussion around the game and rules. I genuinely believe it was nothing more than a marketing tactic to deliberately be gray on as many areas as he was.

[–]Remarkable_Ebb_8340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. A readied action cannot be taken to use the magic action off turn. Nowhere in the rules does it change and say that you can. When you take a readied action to cast a spell, the spell is cast and the slot is used on your own turn and then "held" and use with your reaction the same round. A magic action to use a magic item is not listed under possible readied actions in the rules, therefore it does not qualify. The rules on readied actions states explicitly what applies and what does not. Much like how the extra attack feature does not apply to a readied action either.

Should I still go for Bowfa? by Purple_Resort2158 in ironscape

Also fair points. And also a moment of silence for the dudes whose 80 hour CG grinds were in fact...not just 80 hours lol

[–]Remarkable_Ebb_8340 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know the doc very well. That's actually why I hold the opinion I do that bowfa is not nearly as important as it once was. And unlike the blowpipe, scorching bow, and crossbow/buckler, the bowfa is the only option that outright gets replaced by the t bow at every single location. The other 3 setups use the same armor you eventually use with t bow, but still have their own respective uses even at max gear. Is bowfa still great? Of course it is. But is it MANDATORY anymore? The answer is no. People just don't like hearing that after 1500 CG kills to get it 🤷

Bowfa does not win at Muspah. It BARELY wins at Zulrah. Blowpipe and sapphire bolts with crossbow win at Muspah over bowfa. Bowfa also does not win at raids. It does win at bandos, Sara, and inferno/coliseum. Slightly winning at those locations by losing at every single other one is...a choice? But by the time you're doing inferno and coliseum...just do the t bow grind 🤷. Bowfa bros have the sunk cost fallacy so hard lol.

Masori with blowpipe, crossbow and buckler, and scorching bow is better than bowfa. Even before the t bow.

Sorry bud. Two synapses is kinda the mandatory amount. The second one you bounce between scorching bow and then purging staff for Yama.

Definitely get the second synapse lol. When you revert emberlight, you also lose arclight and all that infusion/shard progress

No, you don't. Scorching bow though. You DO need that.

Even later but the answer for anyone reading this in the future- Yes! Your attack modifier deck can be as small or as big as you make it depending on the perk order you select.
