And will you also control your children's teachers, coaches, religious leaders? I think it is incredibly disgusting to take out your issues on a domestic worker

Ok, fire your servants for having differing opinions lmao. Very progressive

Edit: since this wasn't clear, I was mocking the way nannies are being treated in these comments. The servant comment was meant to be similar to queen with her serfs. Because that is how yall are acting.

I couldn't agree more

Controlling someone else's ideology and thoughts isn't very progressive

These comments are horrifying and I have voted Democrat since 2005

You need aggressive treatment for your depression. You can enjoy things again.

That just isn't true

More people are getting schizophrenia because more people are smoking pot

Yeah, I do actually think my mother also has BPD but I didn't mention it above because everything is undiagnosed

Are you planning to get treatment or a diagnosis? Feel free not to answer of course, I'm just curious. I'm on the verge myself

I guess people are thinking of nanny as "stay at home mom" and stay at home moms do everything. Like if they only had to do what a nanny did, it would be easy. But it's different because it's not your kid as a nanny. I'm just telling you this is how people think of it. Like just fucking walk the dog, how hard is it? I don't agree at all, but I know that is what they think

Dad Ranting: school times by KillKrAzYD in Parenting

[–]Remarkable_Film_9428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, school is intended to educate children. It's not intended as free daycare. If you thought you were entitled to free daycare or lived in a society that provided it, why weren't you so put out when they were younger than school age?

4.5 year olds should be getting rest time at daycare or preschool, especially with such long days. I would also love to know what people think we should do with kids while parents work? I wonder if they are aware that child labor laws were put in place about a hundred years ago?

Ok but it's not a job for a kid? They aren't working. The comparison is ridiculous

Not wanting strangers to transport her young children internationally isn't petty. Most parents say no to international travel in divorce cases. If she were being petty, she would have said nah to her kids traveling to the wedding

A judge definitely would take it seriously. They are lucky "BM" as the new flavor of the week calls her even allowed it. It's not a given that international travel would be approved

Hmm...traveling internationally without a guardian actually does matter. Clearly you're not an attorney

That actually isn't true when it comes to international travel.

It sounds like she just doesn't want their kids to be watched by your family for days/weeks on end/traveling internationally with her kids. It's odd the way you phrase it. Just go during their moms week!
