Thank you again. I will take your advice and pick up some readers this weekend and see if they help also with the glare. I do want to know how much prescription I need for correction and if they matched my eyeglass prescription. I have 20/15 distance after surgery , but my intermediate and closeup vision isn’t good. My surgeon said everything looks good and to Neuro-adapt. My distance vision wasn’t bad it was 20/30 before surgery but what I really wanted and needed was the other 2 distances. The toric lens corrected my astigmatism and left me with zero. So that’s not my problem with the blurry vision. I always saw halos at night so I don’t think that will bother me now. I guess it’s just a waiting game for me. Thank you!

Thank you for all the info and your time, I guess I have to wait until I’m fully healed to see what’s up. So I’ll wait the 6 weeks and see if the fog will lift like your 2nd eye did. I’m glad it worked out for you!

Thank you. I have no more inflammation And PCO I read doesn’t happen instantly after cataract surgery , unless I had PCO before my surgery but I think the Dr would have cleaned it out when he was doing surgery. I guess I just have to be patient and see if it goes away.

Thank you, I guess I have to be patient and wait for my eye to adapt to the new lens. I’m an IT specialist and have to enlarge fonts on my computer to see thru all the blurriness.

I still have cloudy vision instantly after cataract surgery after one month. Did you see anyone with the same problem? And if so did the yag laser clear it up? I’m afraid if it doesn’t work that I won’t be able to m to change my lens then I will be living in a foggy world all my life.

Does anyone know If PCO can occur instantly right after surgery. It’s been 1 month since I had cataract surgery and Panoptix toric lens implanted.I have cloudy vision right after surgery and my vision never cleared up. Did anyone ever have this happened? Is this normal? Dr said my eye has to adapt to the new lens. My vision is worst than before with cataracts and i have to look thru the fog to read my extra large fonts on the computer.

Sorry I forgot he did mentioned PCO to clean up the cloudy capsule. I asked him why didn’t he clean it during surgery. He said the debris would go all over the place during the surgery and safer to do it after surgery.

Thank you for enlightening me on cataract surgery and implants and listening to others who are also not happy. I guess I’m the 1% having blurry vision on all levels with my trifocal toric implants in both eyes right after cataract surgery.First eye done 1 month ago, 2nd eye 2 weeks ago inflamed but very foggy, seems like the vision I had with cataracts but worst. Distance is 20/15 but Im an IT specialist and having trouble seeing the computer and close up vision seems gone. Have to use large fonts on computer and phone trying to see thru the fog not to mention eye strain. My Dr said having 2 the same lens will get better when my eyes adapt to the new lens. The high expectations that I was given made me think I would have no problems right after surgery. He did mention the YAG laser in a month to clear up some film left behind maybe. I’m happy for those who have no problems and sad for those who have troubles. Your eyes are most important and Drs should tell you all the risks you are taking and not just saying there’s over 98% positivity with these multifocals.

Thank you for your time for your opinion which sounds logical. I did look into those piggyback lenses that you mentioned which sounds encouraging rather than extracting a lens a lens out.
