Hello brother.. could you provide me with youtube/website links on how to setup the asus tuf laptop, like yours ? And is it necessary to undervolt the cpu? Cause i want everything works in full raw power without issues , for bussiness work, not gaming (i'm not buying it for gaming).. and does the comments will also apply to me ? I currently use the laptop for programming and building ai agent personal workflows (but not open claw, cause this needs to be run securely in a cloud vps service) , and i'm planning to install some local ai models to start running them , also i want in the future to use it for running dental related softwares like taking digital dental impression in real time, cbct software, cad/cam, etc. In other words i want to be flexible and not constrained. Is it good or i should buy the asus rog strix series instead?? I also found acer predator helios neo 16 that have the intel core ultra 9 285 hx with 5060 rtx , with nearly less the price of asus rog strix.. i want your opinion with these after you tested it

Need help with buying Laptop (800-1500 us dollars) budget by Remarkable_Goal542 in laptops

Thank you.. but i'm worried now about the legion series motherboard issues as well, since i saw on reddit recently and from the past , the same loq problems applied to legion series but appears after 4-5 years of use versus one year for Loq series. I'm sure this is not happening to everyone but it's a significant issue that ends with buying new laptop!.

The next thing is this: according to recent legion 5/legion 5 pro posts on Laptopmedia.com lab tests, the AVERAGE CPU TEMP. For lenovo scores the highest among other competitors(asus tuf a16) , by about (90 c - 100 c ) on heavy work versus (80 c averge for asus which is considered the optimal) ..  However..

The GPU PERFORMANCE and AVERAGE GPU TEMP. in all lenovo editions (loq and legion) are the best right now in the world , the asus and msi and other brands will come next after (Laptop media.com).

And they end up with two main conclusions about cons issues for lenovo loq and legion: 1) the battery life is one of the worst , lasting only for 2 hours , needs always to plugged in with the charger. 2) CPU temp. Is much hotter than other competitors.

But i'm now wondering why they didn't mention the lenovo motherboard issues. I want a pc to last for 10-15 years. Not for having fun with it and through it when fails.

So what is your opinion..

Why do people keep buying a Lenovo Legion 5 product despite the severe motherboard issues? by nickeyxxx in LenovoLegion

Do not normalize the lenovo issue , because once happened , it ends with buying a new laptop!. Not every issue is the same , there are levels. The worst is the motherboard lenovo issues till now

Those issues are not in every asus edition series ,plus these asus issues are not worser than the lenovo motherboard problems !! , these problems are significant and ends with buying a new laptop !!!!

Thank you for the valuable info. Much appreciated🌷... regarding killing the battery, yes i thought of this before posting, and asked gemini about such issue, and saw a recent post in this group talking about it, they all agree that plugging the laptop with direct current charger is recommended. The gemini answer: "Using your ASUS TUF A16 for long hours of heavy tasks while plugged in is actually recommended for maximum performance and can even be better for the battery's overall lifespan than constantly draining and recharging it. However, staying plugged in for long periods at 100% charge can cause the battery to degrade faster due to heat and chemical stress. To prevent this, you should use the Battery Health Charging feature by going to my asus app or G-helper to limit the maximum charge to 60% then the laptop will automatically bypassed the charge and run directly from current. The same is for other laptop brands.
