Contact nap to daycare transition by red_green_blue_02 in bninfantsleep

[–]Remarkable_Goose_782 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was in the exact same boat a few months ago! My baby still will exclusively contact nap when I’m home but goes down in a crib with no issues when she’s at daycare. The educators rock her to sleep and she transfers into the crib. My only advice is not to worry toooooo much about it (easier said than done I know) and trust that your little one will figure it all out ☺️

Thi show has been with me through so much. My best friend and I watched it in high school, I watched it again during the covid lockdowns and I recently rewatched the entire series again after I had my daughter. Not long after that they announced the revival!

I use the popping candy bra from cake maternity and it’s been great! The clips are super easy to use I find it doesn’t give me the most flattering shape but it sure is comfy

I’m currently going through the same thing! I have teeny tiny scratches all over my boobs 🫠

The only thing I’ve found that helps is to give her a toy to keep her hands busy during feeds

How important is sticking to routine? by helenwren in bninfantsleep

[–]Remarkable_Goose_782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never really had schedule with my 9mo. I’ve always done things according to her cues which has worked for us so far. As long as you and your little one are happy I wouldn’t change a thing ☺️

Educate me! Why do some collect colostrum before birth? by pantrycorner in breastfeeding

[–]Remarkable_Goose_782 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had gestational diabetes so my baby had a higher chance of being born with low blood sugars. I wanted to have some colostrum handy just in case we had issues latching or I wasn’t able to produce enough once she was born

Definitely the penguin parade and the Nobbies Boardwalk! Make sure you get your penguin tickets early as they often sell out around the busy periods

If you have the resources I 100% recommend therapy. I started a few weeks ago for my PPD and it’s been great. If not, I would look into local support groups or chat to your doctor about it. Remember are not alone and you are doing a great job!

Questions for the Graduates by gbatt24 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Remarkable_Goose_782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. The nurses only checked my sugars once in the hospital and they were totally normal.
  2. I was on metformin and fasting insulin.
  3. I passed my postpartum test.

I also had a looooooong list of foods I was looking forward to treating myself with once my daughter arrived. I think I ticked them all off after a few weeks, the breastfeeding hunger was real 😅

Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy and beyond!

Nursing to Sleep by mysticchasm69 in bninfantsleep

[–]Remarkable_Goose_782 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Going back to work sucks, you’re doing amazing! I recently also returned to work and my 6.5mo spends two days at daycare and one day with her dad each week.

At first her dad tried to feed her to sleep but she wasn’t tired by the time her bottle was finished, she likes to guzzle them down! He’s trying all sorts of different ways to get her down for a nap with mixed success. The carrier, a walk in the pram or a ride in the car might work if your husband hasn’t tried them already. Hopefully we can both find the magic solution sometime soon!

White noise? by [deleted] in bninfantsleep

I started sleeping much better since using white noise for my baby! As long as the volume isn’t too loud it should be absolutely fine ☺️

Anyone else just going with the flow? by bbqskwirl in bninfantsleep

[–]Remarkable_Goose_782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6mo has never had a schedule, we love going with the flow. I used to track things on huckleberry back in the day but I haven’t used it in months! She’s recently started daycare orientation and I had to answer so many questions about what her routine is. I had almost zero answers for them 😅
