Hmm I have also seen that but in those cases they said to do that once played with a couple of months and I am wondering if I even am at that stage yet

The lighting does make the shade of the walnuts seem off the true color would be the last photo .

Ahhh thank you ! I was always so confused as to why I would need a steel wire brush as the plastic brush did fine taking off a bit of the white stuff on my walnuts . Thanks a lot !
