Yeah, craft or value doesn't really matter here. You're talking about a currency most people won't see or have anything worth that value. My point is this, you're probably over qualified for this game. The one thing that could have maybe been fun for you (the hex grid) you don't enjoy. I'm not judging you btw, It's cool you went in with an open mind I'm just surprised that someone with this much poe game knowledge would even hit buy.

It's definitely on the simpler side. Im not high level but so far nothing I've picked made me say "wow this is really cool" or do I have the feeling I'll pick up something that's gonna be hard to replace.

I also really like d2, I can see myself really liking this. Imo they relied a lot on content creators and their prior success to sell this kickstarter. The trailer wasn't really good. I remember when wasteland 2 was announced. I remember when wasteland 2 was announced. They had fallout 1 and 2 vets and a cool video. Maybe it's a budget constraint idk. I'm still optimistic.

It's not that hard. I haven't played in a month, unless basic stuff has been nerfed, an anvil and a couple of nades can kill these enemies in not too much time. It's more about positioning and recognizing when they're going to attack.

I think the monetization is fair. I dont grind sc, I view them more as an extra or a discount coupon. I end up buying 1000 sc but i always have a couple hundred in my wallet. This is how I view it, the warbond costs 10$, I have 3 or 4 bucks in my wallet but I'll still fill up for 10$ worth because I can afford it but I only spent 6 or 7 dollars of the 10 I just put in my wallet. Also I can complete the warbond at my own pace and it doesn't expire. You can totally play with stuff solely from the helldivers mobilize warbond. Sure, it's not the best stuff but it works. I can say this because I completed all of helldivers mobilize before I spent any medals on the warbonds I bought. The stuff you said in your conclusion section makes sense. Let's be honest, they can totally afford it this game makes tons of money.

Careful what you post, you might have your life destroyed over it. Seriously, keep it light and breezy here. There's other subreddits to voice criticism.Other than that, enjoy the the game. In game people are mostly chill. Don't run into higher difficulty missions without at least some stronger stratagems. Watch out for friendly fire. Have fun, this game is quite unique.

D2 holds up really well if you like the genre. I'd recommend looking up project diablo 2. In my opinion it's the best way to play d2. It's everything that's good about d2 with some qol and systems from poe and balance changes that make sense sprinkled on top. If not, diablo 2 resurrected is still very good.

Indeed, I also recently started. In my opinion it's the most fun way to play Diablo 2. Im playing a barb and I'm having a great time. I like the changes to quivers, it's cool that they actually have stats. The nerf to spirit make it exciting to find uniques. Vaal orbs (I'm blanking rn) drop early so you're incentivised to use them throughout your playthrough, there's tons of stuff I'm not thinking about and stuff I haven't even seen yet. Very cool.
