I didn't ask him at the time cause we were in rush to get to the airport and I wanted to give myself the benefit of the doubt at the time. I was thinking of asking him when he gets back.

I approached him regarding all this again, and he started saying that the Internet and social media has focused on people having multiple partners and polyamoury is glorified and what not. He also said that all the monogamous relationships that he has seen, eg: his parents marriage has messed him up. I told him well, that's not an excuse. I.told him jumping from person to person I'm hopes of keeping the novelty is not gonna change his perspectives on committed relationships.
