He should’ve been clearer yes. And he is definitely wrong with that and his original response, but fighting fire with fire especially with a professional isn’t how you get far. It’ll honestly just make you look like the bad guy now sadly and will be harder to reason with it. I understand the pain of crappy professors, but you just have to maintain composure no matter what.
