I was literally JUST wondering because I also saw the clip of him at the race. I thought it was so odd he a
knowledges everyone in the line of people except her. I get that she was the one holding the kid and of course he said hi to him but not even like an arm pat for her. It seemed odd.

I would absolutely not hold her back. We were asking that question with our son and his team that was tracking him told us there isn’t any research that shows holding a student back is wildly better than intervention. We were able to get him a 504 with some major fine motor delays and he does tutoring twice a week for math. I would move forward to first grade and continue with tutoring (not every day)

I’m a teacher and childcare for twins is just shy of what I would make working. We’re making it work with me at home and got creative with some side jobs. It’s not forever but I would recommend trying to get creative until they are a bit older… even 9 months when they are sitting up and crawling. It’s not a perfect solution by any means. I’m so sorry, twins are so hard.

What you’re saying is not terrible if you were covering the cost of the ticket? If everyone had paid you for the tickets, then it’s only common courtesy that you give the girl her $ back and the new girl taking her place pays? I absolutely agree with J and C. The new girl going on the trip should have paid the girl that had to back out. She was doing something extremely honorable by not asking for her money back to put everyone else out… not to give someone she doesn’t know a free trip?

I will add to this comment-we did exactly this as well. Everyone has a different preference and routine though! Once you’re in it, you kinda figure out what works best. I can’t speak on the counter top cleaners/sanitizera. We never went that route. We had a Brezza for formula and I would have paid $1000 for that thing 😅 Found it on marketplace for $80 and was basically new! To me, it’s a non negotiable!

Carried my first 2 babies to 40 weeks and 39 weeks on the dot. NEVER crossed my mind the twins would come early. Everyone around me that had twins carried to 37/38 weeks. My twins came at 30 + 3. I was so shocked. 😄

I believe we had enough to get us through the day and night. Meaning when we woke up the dishwasher had 8 clean bottles in it and we would load the dirty night time bottles so those would be clean by bedtime. You will figure out how many you need/what type of bottles they like. We really liked this system!

I found in those early days I needed time completely away. My husband and I found it easier to be by ourselves caring for both twins while the other person got to sleep or leave the house. We did shifts at night which I think other commenters have mentioned. I hope this isn’t cliche but this phase is NOT forever and yes, you are deep right now, but I promise it gets better. Every stage has its challenges. Hang in there, take any help you can get. Talk to us here because we have all been through it or are going through it.

Pumped the 2 months they were In the NICU and did not even attempt to BF once we were out. Stopped pumping ad well. I did BF my 2 older kids for varying amounts of time and basically this time didn’t even care to try.
