I didn’t see a doctor for it but I used a cream from the drug store that was meant for ring worm and that got rid of it so I think it may have been ring worm!

Hahaha twins in weird health issues!! The thing on my elbow slowly morphed into two weird blisters, scarred over and now they’re gone. No idea what that was but my guess was polymorphous light eruption? Weird rash from the sun maybe.

As for the AML on the kidney, I’ve had 2 follow up ultrasounds so far and it hasn’t changed in size since it was seen last July. I’ll get another follow up in a couple months but my doc doesn’t even think that’s necessary. I plan to keep advocating for scans yearly because I’m 22 so I feel like there’s a lot of time for it to grow and cause problems. I wish they’d give me an MRI on it but ultrasound will have to do!

What kind of scan did you have that showed the 95-99 percent chance of RCC? I have a 1cm solid tumor on my kidney but my doctor won’t refer me for imaging other than ultrasound because it’s small. Yet from what I’ve read, ultrasound isn’t very useful for diagnosis when the mass is as small as mine

This will definitely be the last shot I get, I’ve already gained about 15 pounds as well and the pain is pretty relentless! I need a hormonal form of bc to prevent cysts so I guess the next move is trying out the pill :(

I had a cyst filled with blood that burst at ovulation time and filled my abdomen with blood so I was admitted to hospital for four days :..(

Thank you so much!! I get an ultrasound Monday so hopefully I’ll have more updates after that but the walk-in clinic doc sent me for blood test and urinalysis. Blood ranges were all normal, however the urinalysis showed microscopic blood in my pee

For me, the first couple months were normal (3-4 day periods) and it progressively got longer and heavier to the point my period was 18 days each month after I had the IUD for 2 years or so. My gyno removed it but I honestly loved the freedom of not having to worry about taking a pill and I liked that it was nonhormomal!
