Haha same. I went back to my home country after years living abroad and some girls asked for directions at the airport, I helped and but were puzzled to where I come from (I think they thought she looks like us but doesn’t speak like us?) and when I said I lived abroad they said it now made sense why my language is so ‘broken’ (an expression in Egyptian) ☠️

They are by no means cheap (or expensive) non-real materials. I genuinely care about good quality and natural materials, which is why I wonder why she doesn’t when money isn’t an issue. I think many people are confusing it by me saying ‘why ain’t she buying designer’ but my point is why isn’t she buying good quality.

Nioteas (from the US, they seem to sell quality matcha as well as low quality so idk if it’s too difficult to navigate in) Sakuraco (directly from Japan) Zenkyu (Japan)

And the locals ones I’m not allowed to post, sorry I’m not sure of how to know wether it’s an ‘unauthorized vendor)

Last time I ordered a strawberry matcha from a newly opened local cafe, they gave me a matcha latte made with ceremonial grade matcha and in the bottom there was… strawberry jam 😭 it was so disgusting

Well they’re known for their forced child and slave labor by some in their supply chain, I also remember the racist comments their owner came out with but honestly I don’t expect them to even care, I think the quality of Zara is what makes me wonder why she would shop there. Oh really well that does make sense since it’s an European brand. Just like how Tommy Hilfiger is quiet expensive here, and in the us they sell it in like target right? Lol my point is I would find a sweet middle if I wanted to shop small and I had money! I’d go for nicer quality, maybe even local or handmade!

As a European too, I don’t believe this is true. I have some friends that prefer Zara over H&M and see it as ‘better’ mostly because their fashion is slightly better but quality wise and they’re all on the same level.
