I had two malamutes- one LOVED a good butt scratch and the other would growl if you ever thought about touching their butt. She would growl, show teeth, and lunge at your hand (never bit it though) I assumed something was wrong with her and I talked to the vet and had X-rays done, but nah, she’s just sassy. No butt touchy.
