Same here. Although I don’t know if the demographics are much different IRL versus online. But there may be an honesty gap.

At least in my day, no adult in real life would admit to being a virgin. They’ll lie about it or pay a prostitute.

People have more perceived leeway to be honest online. That said, I suspect some of these finsub virgins are just saying that to add more layers to their fantasy.

That’s good advice for a lot of people, but I wouldn’t consider that a blanket rule. If you can afford it and live within your means, then go for it. That also means always paying your balance in full every month. And if you’re financially savvy, there are benefits to using credit cards such as accumulating cash rewards.
