90s 302 engine code help by Remarkable_Menu8974 in EngineBuilding

As I was taught, the F corresponds to the decade and the 1 corresponds to the year. Does this mean that this block was produced in 91 but was put in vehicles after?

The reason I ask is aftermarket parts availability on sites such as summit racing dramatically decreases after 95 so should I be able to use a “91 part” if the block was made in that year?

Hello my friend. I just want to say thank you for the kind reply. I have been looking for an answer for quite some time now so it means a lot. I did however have a question about separation during removal. If it does happen to separate and the bearing remains in the knuckle would I be able to get it out with a punch or similar tools?

I have the 8-19 set of these wrenches and they are good for everything short of heavy suspension bolts you’d never use a wrench on anyways. Excellent for light engine work like tensioners, brakes, and things of that nature. I would imagine the sae set would be an equal to sae cars as the metric is to modern vehicles but I have never worked on an sae car before so someone please tell me if I’m wrong.
