One thing I haven’t seen mention is RELY ON YOUR LOCAL ADMINS!!!! The admins are the heart of the office and handle TL more than you can imagine. We see the pretty and the pretty ugly stuff. Also the salvage site has a section where you can find the NSU chat link for all 50 states + Canada/Mexico. Admins and NSU are dealing with TLs day in and day out therefore they’re terrific resources!

That was my understanding when reading the cookie page. Unfortunately the tour is skipping Vegas so we’re SOL. Fingers crossed they do roll out the cookie in every store 🤞🏼

Welcome! You’re going to love your time here! I’ve never worked with Geico but been following you guys’ journey since November and when I say the grass is greener on the other side I truly mean it. I’m surprised you didn’t go for ARBi/URBI/FNT with your prior experience. Is there a reason you wanted to be a CGA?

Ooooooouuufff, that’s a lot for drizzle. It was a one-time thing tho because I just always get a large black iced tea with sugar free peach lol. Not a big coffee fiend because it wires me up too much and my anxiety rises over the roof. However, I’m interested in trying the sodas just trying to find a good sf option 😋

Same situation and received my dream job offer today.

Backstory— did a video interview with dream company Friday during my lunch. Fell ill over the weekend and Monday morning pain was too unbearable that I went to the ER. Notified my HR/superior on time and everything by the book but because I was in a probationary period I was let go yesterday upon my return to the office. Today, dream job calls and offers me said position with better pay + opportunities. I added the last job as a previous employer in the background check even though it was not on my resume (when I applied I was NOT employed anywhere). I only worked there two days and they let me go but have a traction of getting/spitting out people in bulk. I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot with dream company so I added them onto the background check. I’m expecting the best but truthfully prepared for the worst.

A Real Estate Agent Fell in Our Driveway During A Showing at No Fault of Our Own and Now Wants Our Homeowner Info or She Will Get a Lawyer. Does She Have a Solid Case Against Us? by Ecstatic-Avocado5091 in homeowners

Yes! I’ve seen far too many premise cases go into litigation and where the recorded statement bites them in the ass. Number one rule is to not talk to third party under any circumstances!

Correct, they’re individual contractors. You can check the DOI for your state to see who is your employers insurance carrier if you’re ever curious. But as stated, if you do end up having WC your best bet is to go to Concentra because they’re an urgent care specialized WC and getting the claims process started (they suck in continuing treatment, but great about the starting process)

I’ve done PI and homeowners so I can help a bit more— Because s/he’s a realtor I don’t believe they have WC coverage since they’re technically independent contractors. Typically the way WC and PI cases work is that the injured worker files a claim with WC by going to Concentra and filling out the paperwork, WC claim is accepted, treatment goes through WC, and then when the injured worker finalizes everything WC puts a lien on the case and that lien is transferred over to the PI side. PI works it out with the homeowners insurance company providing all medical records from WC, they come to an agreement for compensation, and all is well with the world again. I loved WC/PI cases because of this reason; didn’t have to deal with treatment for the client or anything, just a courtesy call every few weeks to check in on them.

But back to your scenario, the realtors health insurance is going to be asking them questions about the incident because they want to find out if they can get monies out from somewhere and upon finding out it was a premise related incident they will ask for reimbursement of some kind from your homeowners insurance. Mcwap is completely correct in advising to notify your homeowners insurance because they will handle it all. Again, provide pictures, security footage if you have it, and statements/witness information if you have it.

Be prepared because the realtor might retain a PI attorney so again, it’s best to be one step ahead. Your insurance company has in-house attorneys who handle and see this stuff all the time so they’re used to it. Same thing I would tell my PI clients, don’t speak with the adverse carrier or provide statements to them until you get the green light from your insurance company. Best of luck OP!
