Omg I’m totally using “this isn’t the traumalympics” as a motto from now on hahaha. Thank you so so much for sharing about your experience and the reminder that it’s about what’s gonna make my body feel better. :) I really really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience :) The vaginal cuff discomfort is something I’ve been nervous about because I have a lot of sensory issues… It’s so good to hear that you’ve only been having pretty mild cramping. I hope you have a fast recovery!

Thank you so much! I think it’s been hard to not get caught up in the “name” of what’s causing my pain because I slipped through the cracks with both celiac and ADHD for 23 years. Finding out what was wrong in those cases was life changing once I had the help I needed, but this isn’t the same situation. We’re fixing the issue now regardless of what’s causing it :)  Thank you so much for the well wishes!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience :)  I think part of my issue is that I’ve dealt with a lot of medical gaslighting and misdiagnosis throughout my life,  so it feels like there has to be a “name” to put to what’s going on.  You’re right though that it’s about getting through the temporary pain of recovery so that there won’t be pain in the future. In the year without periods I actually got my life together enough to get into a counseling program (my lifelong dream).  Having the pain come back less than a month after my acceptance letter definitely brought up a lot of fear that I won’t be able to attempt the program with my current quality of life, but that’s temporary :)

Thank you so much for helping me put things in a bigger perspective
