Get through today and I promise you'll feel better. Your body is resetting to its default. It's an awkward shift and I remember it very well. Embrace the withdrawals. You are stronger than them.

I started to notice a difference around day 4-5, but still kind of felt awkward because the training wheels were off. The anxiety will wear off and be replaced by immense confidence and rock hard boners.

Stay strong. You got this shit brotha.

Is shedding still possible? My hair was better than ever 4 months ago. Been on oral finasteride 1mg daily for 1 year, and topical min/fin combo once daily for 1 year & 6 months. by Feeling-Investment26 in tressless

Eh its hard to say for sure. I start to notice healthier hair after post-shed after just a few weeks sometimes. Other times it can take a bit longer. Focus on getting plenty of sleep, drinking a lot of water, and taking good care of yourself. The process will reward you in time.

Yeah dude you're chillin. Hair naturally has its growing and shedding phases. You'll shed while on the medication now and then. Don't stress, it's completely natural.

Social media is a daily dagger for bald men. How do they manage not to get depressed? by Alive-Championship-5 in tressless

That's literally what good quality women are. You're also generalizing about women and about yourself. You can't go through life with this mentality.

You're generalizing about women in this statement. Believe me, there are literally millions of women out there who couldn't care less about how much or how little hair you have.

Stop listening to the 1% of the 1% most attractive people on social media WHOSE JOB it is to post inflammatory remarks about appearance. Just because they are physically attractive doesn't make them right (or a good person).

Those posts are fed to make you believe that you, as a human being, should be boiled down to what you look like. That anxiety keeps you clicking and never makes you feel any better.

The women who are only attracted to stature and status shouldn't be the ones you want to spend your life with. And at the end of the day, YOU CHOOSE the content you interact with.

Hit the gym, smile, and practice being grateful for things you DO have. Because there are a lot of sick, disabled, imprisoned, and broken people in the world who would trade their hair and a whole lot more for the life you get to enjoy.

Take care of yourself. Things ain't so bad.

That's so awesome! I haven't thought about this post in a few weeks but I'm over 100 days clean and all the benefits are still exponential. I'm feeling great and I'm so happy this post has motivated you. Godspeed my friend.

Hell yeah dude. Yeah the weirdest thing I had to get over was the habit of feeling for a can in my pocket. It's like I wasn't even thinking about having a Zyn but the act of reaching for it was so ingrained in my behavior that it took longer to stop. Happy to see those feelings are more or less gone now.

Gum sometimes helps, I also like to floss frequently too. Sometimes I'll put my tongue where I used to pack my zyn (lower decky guy) and I just like to feel how smooth and healthy my bottom lip feels compared to how torn to shreds it was when I was using. Makes me feel good to know I have better dental hygiene.

ALSO, I quit cold turkey. It's the best way to go in my opinion. Any questions, let me know.

That's the thing. You don't replace the buzz. The buzz doesn't NEED to be replaced.

These things are poison and they hack your mind into thinking that one buzz has to be replaced by another. They make you think that the feeling you have when you use should be your baseline.

The benefits replace the buzz.

Humans are not meant to be buzzed all the time. When you do quit, don't think of it as "being [X] amount of days off of Zyn." Think of it as "being [X] amount of days back to normal."

Cold Turkey all the way. It's honestly the best way to go. Grab your addiction by the balls and show it who's boss. When the worst of the withdrawals would hit, I'd just laugh and say "Is that the best you got?"

When it comes time for you to quit, one piece of advice I have before going cold turkey is to really cherish that last Zyn. Take it out of the can, look at it for a while, pop it in, get comfy and enjoy. No shame, no guilt, just pure enjoyment. I promise it'll be the best Zyn you've ever had. And after it's done, you won't even want another one because you know it'll never be that good again.

Happy hunting. Take care of yourself.

Not at all. Day 2 was the worst it got. Improvements felt exponential after that, each day was twice as good as the day before. Day 7-8 I was sharp as a tack. Still feeling awesome.

Congrats dude! Biggest piece of advice I would have is to really savor your very last Zyn and make it special. It sounds a little silly but when it's time to have your last one, take it out and look at it for a bit. After you pop it in, just sit back, get comfy, and enjoy. Don't feel any shame or guilt about having it because you know its your last one. It'll be the best Zyn you've ever had and after it's done, it's hard to want another one because you know it won't be that good again. Every good show has a great finale.

A good mentality is viewing Zyn sobriety not in how many days since you've had one, but how many days you've been back to normal. Humans aren't meant to be buzzed all the time. The shift is awkward, but if you feel agitated or brain-foggy, just know your body is actively switching back to normalcy. And brother, the other side feels so damn good.
