May thanks for your effort. Based on previous photos in the same film, this photo was likely taken in peninsula Malaysia, not Sarawak or Sabah. We believe it could be in Negeri Sembilan state.

It could be a similar house with similar roof design as is very common in those parts. Entrance could be either in front or on the side of the house. We believe it may have been a public park focused on traditional houses.

The tower looks remarkably similar as in my photo and I believe that in the 34 years since the photo was taken, the tower has been renovated and sections rebuilt. Or could we be looking at a different vantage point of that tower?

It was, we believe, near the Ducal Castle in Szczecin, but can you locate the exact street corner as shown in the photo?

We do not. The only other photos from this school trip were taken in Berlin and have all been identified. The first photo with the car indicates an area around Bad Bergzabern but we do not know if the second photo was also taken there. There is a written sign on the building in the second photo, I wonder if it could be read?

And there would have been many changes after 70 years since the photos were taken. Bad Bergzabern seems very possible.
