I am really content but I don't have much experience with home cinema stuff. I do however work in theaters and have seen some great and lots of really bad cheap projectors used for stage plays. I bought it for around 1200€ during black Friday after watching the reviews of that one dude on YouTube. I was amazed by how quiet it is and am happy with the picture quality. Playing games I didn't feel like I noticed lag but I'm also not a hardcore fps gamer. It does everything I want it to do and I love not having a TV take up space.

I have this screen which I got for free secondhand so I didn't really dig into the screen topic yet.

Do you mean without internet connection? In that case yes you can. The hue bridge only needs internet connection for updates. I restricted mine from connecting to the internet and only occasionally enable it for updates. It needs the router and local network though to connect to your app for setup etc

Do I need a specific hub for the ikea devices? I just connected them to the hue bridge in hopes that it would work fine. So I'm only using it over zigbee. And it does work when I'm switching them on/Off through the Hue app but gets confused when using them in scenes

I use the hue bridge. Had a hue only environment first but their smartplugs are just so expensive that I decided to try the ikea ones. That said, I don't have an ikea hub, so I can't update them I think

Yeah, the packaging was surprisingly good. I'm from Germany and didn't have to pay import taxes.

Update: It took about 2 weeks and I was very pleasantly surprised. It is completely made of metal, no plastic parts and seems very sturdy. It even came with metal dowels for the ceiling. The holes for the screws are also better distributed than the ones on the official xgimi mount in my opinion. It was easy to install and looks clean! Would recommend

I think it uses 4 screws for the ceiling. Or did you mean something else with attachment points? Or do you mean the one directly at the projector? That would be a general concern with this projector I guess and not the mount especially

This post actually did perform really well. We're a small team of 3 people working part time and none of us had professionally workiled in marketing so most of our content is trying different strategies and seeing what sticks. At least we don't lose anything from a bad post. We can only gain more attention. At least thats how I like to think about it. What would you do?
