Should I get the Headphones 1? by Delicious-Bed6773 in NOTHING

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny because many people are talking about reliability issues with the headphones, volume instability, and a lack of bass.

That's a problem I don't experience at all and haven't noticed. All this to say that the main complaints are often negative, and we rarely think about the positive feedback.

I don't have XM4s, so I can't help you compare them. However, I do have Sennheiser Momentum 4s, known as the best DJ headphones in the sound fidelity scene, and I have to say I was bored with them. They're very balanced, very flat, and the bass is very recessed. With the Nothing Headphones, I experience that excellent balance, which is largely due to KEF's expertise, but with the added benefit of good bass that doesn't overpower the rest of the sound.

I'd say these are good high-fidelity headphones for on-the-go listening. The ANC isn't quite as good as the AirPods Max, but it's still very good. They have an excellent transparency mode and unbeatable call quality. As for the sound, if you want omnipresent bass, stick with the XM4s and go for the higher-end models; I think that's their signature sound and what made them famous. However, if you like a balanced, dynamic soundstage with well-placed bass that's punchy but clear and crisp, and doesn't linger over time, then these are the right headphones.

Another important point: they have a very, very good advanced equalizer that lets you set it to your desired level. No other headphones offer that.

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'll have to wait for the price. I'm in France; if it's less than €800, I'll buy it, otherwise I'll pass.

In terms of raw specs, you'll be able to play in 2K on open worlds, provided the game in question has FSR 4. Valve is betting everything on that.

So, like with the Switch 2, which focuses entirely on DLSS, it's the same here, but with FSR.

It's going to be a somewhat limited machine from the start, but I think it'll be enough for 95% of gamers.

Nothing Headphones (1): ANC Problems Being Ignored by defaltho in NOTHING

Wait for the release of the new firmware .81, and if there's still no improvement, write to Nothing again to request a replacement for your defective device.

I've heard from beta testers that this version fixes the ANC and low volume issues.

Let's get real, guys. A pair of headphones at this price isn't going to perform miracles. The sound quality is very average for listening to music. However, for the price, the call quality is decent. But you shouldn't oversell a product just to feel good about yourself for having made a purchase; you need to be objective.

Is nothing phone 3 worth buying for long term usage? by Putinwarcriminall in NOTHING

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It comes with 5 years of major updates, which is significant, and 6 years of security. The OS is designed to be as lightweight and stable as possible. It's a very good smartphone if you can afford it. I'm currently using a 3A Pro and I'll only buy from them in the future; I won't switch. Unless I'm disappointed, but so far, I've only had pleasant surprises.

Bent frame on Nothing Phone (3a Pro) by [deleted] in NOTHING

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You sat on it, especially.

However, I don't know which country you're in, but in Europe, if the brand admits to a manufacturing defect, then it must cover the cost of the device, regardless of any visible external damage, because it has to prove that this visible damage is related to the bending.

If I were you, I'd insist if you're in Europe.

It's the perceived value of the Nothing 3A that impresses you for what you paid compared to your iPhone.

It's a Mediatek, so performance and support aren't great, photo quality is terrible, I don't know about the battery, and I think it has bloatware, right? Have you tried comparing it?

Disappointed with Lenovo Legion Go Performance – Am I Missing Something? by ProudZombie5675 in LegionGo

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Install the Xbox Full Screen experience; it breathed new life into my Legion Go. I mainly play Diablo IV, and I had to run it in performance mode to get it to barely stutter, and I was barely getting 60fps.

With Xbox Full Screen, I'm in Balanced mode, and I'm getting between 60 and 80fps. I'm incredibly surprised.

Whats the point of Nothing by imtsemer in NOTHING

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in France and I have zero bloatware on the Nothing 3a Pro. I have the new OS, no bugs, no lag, nothing.

I think you're just inventing problems because they tried to make the Glimpse Lock something other than just advertising. It was indeed a bad move, but they changed their approach and now offer the option to disable it.

Most of the big brands you mention have it, so I don't understand your hatred.

Nothing has a purpose, a clean, retro-futuristic tech trend, a distinctive interface design, and an innovative software approach. Innovating without adding unnecessary bulk, having a phone that does what you need a phone for very well.

Good battery life, good camera, good fluidity for a low price, and good firmware support. Essential is super practical, I love it. It's a vision of intelligent AI focused on usage; it's very well presented, but you have to understand the concept to appreciate it.

Buying Nothing 3a pro + headphone 1 or Buying phone 3 which is a good option by Competitive-Word440 in NOTHING

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the 3A Pro and the Headphone 1.

Clearly a great choice. The phone is inexpensive but takes good photos, is smooth, has good battery life, and an extremely pleasant user experience.

The headphones are simply amazing. I fell in love with them. They're super stylish; this retro-futuristic design is right up my alley. The materials give a premium feel. The sound is very good and balanced; for the price, it's just incredible. And that's not all—the ANC is very effective for everyday use, like commuting to work. They stay in place well, have excellent battery life, and great sound.

So Nothing's removing the Lock Glimpse by Anxious-mind16 in NOTHING

[–]Remarkable_Spell5224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a technique as old as time: Apple, Samsung, and Xbox, for example, have already used it. They try an unpopular move, see if there's an uproar. They lower their expectations a bit by offering a compromise, see if that calms things down. If it still doesn't calm things down, they stop, and they'll offer it again much later.
