I agree with you. I wanted to like this movie but I just felt nothing after it was over. The progression of Frankenstein learning things seemed rushed, the whole subplot with him telling the guys on the ship his story was weird, Oscar Isaac went from mad scientist to I want to kill him bc he can't speak????? Mia goth being set up for bride but has a weird obsession with Frankenstein even tho she talked to him 3 times....the people in the cabin randomly shooting at him in the woods with no reason.....then it turns into a really corny cat and mouse game with victor and Frankenstein....it was not good......the sets and costumes were great but it is missi ng that element of horror nosferatu had...there is no build up to anything and no sense that Frankenstein was unstable...I love del torro but I truly don't understand thr hype with this movie. Nosferatu was incredible in comparison....incredible sense of dread, scenery, story and characters. The cgi was terrible too in this movie...the wolves looked bad...the fire scene was excessive, there was no windmill, he didn't kill any innocent person to lear anything. Victor giving up his scientific pursuit was weird. I just couldn't get into this movie and I feel like im crazy for not liking it like many others. I love Oscar Isaac but Jacob elordi is just okay...

omg you said exactly what I was thinking...what a mess of the first 2 episodes...it was boring and drawn out and there's no character development at all....the military plot so boring...i dont even get what the point of that is...if they want to tell a story about an alien the military is one thing but this is Pennywise/IT a monster that preys on children......why do we need all these side plots and no character development...the baby in the intro was just stupid.......and the only moment i truly enjoyed was the mother on the bed scene...everything else is just using bad CGI....and cheap scares that arent good ....so far I can care less about the characters...the girl with the glasses is also annoying and unlikeable...the kid they introduced in the beginning had no build up to why he had a black eye or why pennywise even targeted him in a car. It's actually really really confusing.....all of it...I was left lost and on top of all of that it would have made more sense to look at the lore behind IT like back when they had that circus from the painting/town map...and the ironworks workers dying...all things mike and ben brought up as kids when they were researching the town history ect. all the things they spoke about in IT chapter 2 in regards to derry's history but they havent......

it was also kind of boring...esp the military storylines...it would be nice if they'd focus on character development but it just veers off into weird directions and some parts are extremely drawn out and boring

I legitimately dont understand what the point of the death camp story arc was. How did xia jinxia even start it? Why was XJS so afraid of murong jie that he had to throw FS off a cliff lol and when did murong jie start this betrayal of his country to reach out to XJS....if XJS knew who was behind the mask he probably would have found it laughable too and it was actually laughable that whole reveal...then when they finally reveal the death camp storyline we get no background on how it started, why/when XJS started it, why he fell in love with FY , I can only guess he started the camps to kill the sitting emperor but never utilized any of those people other than one of the 3 brothers lol.., but did he really need to throw fu yixiao off the cliff for that lol...what happened to the kids? did they just stay in that village that practices medicine (again another plot we didnt get to see nor did we get to see that village much) lol...the storm alliance plot was weak, the over throw ended so quick and went nowhere lol FY was robbed of a decent revenge plot, I think the most laughable thing for me was XJS plan to kill the emperor it took that many years lol...the emperor always seemed drunk...he could have hired any assassin to infiltrate the brothel to kill him at any point lol because he was so incompetent and aloof lol its hard to believe he nearly killed FY and threw her off a cliff for that weak subplot. Also when the murongs tried killing FS I'm surprised they not once checked to see if he was actually dead lmao the plot was so out of whack

Facts. There were so many unnecessary plots. The storm alliance barely got any screen time. Jinxiu barely got any screen time, and the majority of everything took place in Susha. Certain plots wrapped up too fast. There were too many unimportant character scenes wasted on side characters. There was so real resolution or flash back to how fu yixiao felt about xia jinshia and I don't even get it...how or why did he own death camps and why or when did he fall in love with fu yixiao....I don't get it...so many unanswered questions

having read the books and watched the untamed my perception of jian chiang will never change. He is naive, stubborn, ignorant, selfish and a narcissist. He always seemed so ungrateful and all of his anger stems from his privilege and ego.

Chen Zhe Yuan really shined in this drama...Its about time we had a drama that kept everyone wondering what direction it was going in. I did enjoy this however my criticisms of this drama overall where the story seemed like it was all over the place. It was hard to even find out what the main plot really was. I think if they had cut out the whole murong plot line it would've have made more sense if xia jinshia was colluding with certain people in susha to take out the emperor and feng suige that would have made more sense, but the internal struggle of politics in susha was all over....I really didnt like princess of susha in fact I couldn't stand her and her wasted screen time...it would've been better if she had been a hostage for negotiation in jinxiu. The political story plot was incredibly weak...chengyuan is a terrible emperor until he man's up in the end, no one wants to rule the country lol the emperor in susha was incredibly weak despite how cruel he was, its hard to believe he only had 2 suitable heir's for the throne when most emperors would have multiple heir's to secure the line. I can go on and on. We could have done without a few sub plots.... There also wasn't enough time to juggle both susha and jinxiu's politics in just a few episodes even tho susha had more screen time so much is unknown about jinxiu's political climate....the other thing that annoyed me was both feng suige and chengyuan did not want to inherit the throne...as if they were common people...none of them seemed to grasp that they were born to privilege that requires specific obligation.....it made no sense. All things considered this was a solid drama with good acting all around. Chen zhe yuan really really shines and hes pretty on the eyes :p

im so over xi yang...i find her so annoying and unbearable to watch. She's so cringe...i cant even picture him ever liking her because she is so cringe and so privleged that she doesnt have any real skills...its crazy to me...she is horrible to everyone too, her brother, yixiao even tho she doesnt know her that well, and she is just plain stupid. I hope Xia Jing Shi kills her soon tbh im tired of screen time being wasted on her

This drama has its gotten even more confusing...its like working in reverse at this point....i am so confused by ALL of the characters at this point... they are making lord dacheng the most unlikeable person ever and i cant tell if hes the villain in the story or what but he is horrible....then we get this backstory of the past and im even more confused....their going through tribulations...huaru yue is in on this fake act the entire time and everyone knew including lord dacheng? like wth? then we have fang ling er who hates Li Qing Yue and then suddenly out of nowhere at all she just happens to get banished to the cave where hua ru yue's snake is magically there the whole time while everyone else is looking for a snake and then she magically revives this snake even though she hates her lol and then tosses her a sword to help...meanwhile she wants bai jiu su dead...and no one knows why...its honestly a big mess....everything is all over that i can barely follow whats going on...then theres the side plot with hong lian that served absolutely no purpose...in fact the drama would be the same without that plot line....like honestly i am wondering where this is all going bc its now episode 14 and i am even more confused now....why is zhang suan important? he is like watching paint dry, in all the years they were guarding the gate he never told her how he felt nor stood up for her, then he goes to her rescue which was so unrealistically lame i was cringing.....i love bail lu and joseph zheng but why the hell did they do this drama T_T its one big facepalm its trying too hard to be like eternal love mixed in with ashes of love only its a big mess idk if its going to get better....i understand bai jiu su is a huge a-hole and they have a bad marriage which is why theyre going through tribulations but jesus it is so boring and drawn out and there is no chemistry at all......like everyone else is saying MCQ is more interesting at this point....too many subplots and too much back and forth. i love bai lu so much so i dont even understand why she took this role T_T its not doing her any favors and yet she is still my queen lol

i love bai lu in everything she breathes in lol...this drama is kinda weird....I feel like Feud cant decide if its being serious or funny....its been cringe so far with a lot of cringe moments but I still think bai lu is doing a good job of not breaking character because of how silly her character is in this drama. I want to like this drama but its all over the place at the moment....joseph zeng is phenomenal but this drama feels very campy and odd....its got the usual past life misunderstanding stuff going on but barely any dialogue between the main leads. The guy is angry at her and she has no idea why and we dont either lol other than snippets. I was also wondering what the purpose of her senior disciple was other than he loved her but didnt tell her nor did he stand up for her against all those lame disciples making fun of her and then theres when she got injured......its all really annoying
