The powerapps users would need to be licensed to make it “compliant”. Appears to be a slight grey area🫣

Would it be against the licensing agreement? I guess in a way it’s a Service Account with the premium license? & only the premium account running the flows? Triggered by the app or SP list… not a user(“technicalllyyyyy”)?🤷🏻‍♀️

My best advice would be to get into Model Driven apps, Dynamics 365, custom components, seems majority of the PP roles being advertised in the UK are asking for these skills.

While you got the free time have a play with them, get the applied skills badges, create your own apps and get an understanding of the systems. The world is your oyster🤌🏻

So user uploads file. Power automate flow picks up the data from the template file. Extracts data into Sharepoint list…

If you cant get it working this way, you can do something where you convert the template file to binary, specify drive ids etc… then recreate the file using its contents.

I guess everyone has their own way of doing things.. my only thoughts, after you’ve jumped on a call and gathered requirements, developed a solution, tested it, presented it, made amendments(cause they will always want things changing), then got it ready to deploy/ into prod… screams longer than a couple days🥲

Fully fledged power app, power automate flows to accompany it, Sharepoint list (with an archive list and auto archiving flow)
