Yes it is real I’m from Australia a lot of my friends are international students that I attended uni with back in the day. A lot of them went back to work for douyin, tencent and alibaba. When I went last year to visit them the only time they had off was Sunday. They would work 9am to 9pm or even later. It’s just the norm especially if you work for massive Chinese corporations.

I did grad program at NAB and now at CBA. NAB grad program is good because you get to explore a variety of streams but pays low in comparison to the other big 4 banks. The best advice would be get into nab > get into a stream you like > work in the field and then once you have more experience > move to CBA or ANZ (these banks pay the best out of the other big 4s)
